Just a gearhead couple building some crazy stuff in our spare time. Our first build is a turbo 360 Magnum stick shift 1951 Dodge Dually with insane coilovers!
Follow along as we build and thrash whatever pops into our head.
You'll see lots of fabrication and custom car and truck builds. We like to do things ourselves. You'll also see us thrashing those builds, with racing, off roading, burnouts and whatever else we can come up with.

Turning Up A 12 Valve Cummins! Governor, & Valve Springs + Timing!
Before I drop the cab onto the Cummins swap for the final time I need to crank up this P Pump! I go through the steps of installing governor springs, intake and exhaust valve springs and advancing the timing of the injection pump. This thing is going to be rowdy!

I need that power steering pump for the same reason, s10 chassis 49 Chevy 1600 with 12 valve. Motor mounts came out nice then I tried to mount the stock vac/ps pump and was about to redo driver side and lost enthusiasm, you just got me back on track. Where did you get it?
Hell yeah! It was an eBay special for $102 haha
Very curious to hear more about actual MPG with those big ol tires. As a side note, why does locking the front dif all the time work? I get the how, but wouldnt it be real chunky whenever you were driving around in a parking lot? Maybe i misunderstood what you meant.
I’m pretty sure that power steering pump is for the trim/hydrolics on boats
Could be. All I know is others have successfully used it for power steering. We'll see how it works out.
Such sensual music while installing the springs
Can’t wait to see this finished!
Love it when things come together. Should be really sweet sounding, love 12 valves. I'm guessing about the last time the cab is mounted we will have warm weather. Who needs Groundhog Day anymore? Great video.....
👍💪
Thanks for the video, hope to see y’all soon ✌🏻❤️
I got a nv 4500 in my Yukon xl 3.73 gears and it fly's 😅
Nice work!
the Combo of fully painted clean frame and Patina exterior will be interesting
I'm not a paint guy at all. But I'm really liking the nice, painted frame and suspension being under the ratty body. The contrast just hits right.
Hey man could you possible send me a list of what I would need to single turbo my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9l magnum
Just so you know semi-trucks and semi-trailers don't have side to side isolation of the air bags. Just seems over complicated and over thought. Curious to see how well everything works. Good luck.
How do you feel about if you have something hooked up to your bumper hitch all that weight will be trying to buckle the frame way far foreward over your bags instead of it resting on the back where the rear leaf mounts would have been?
Being as this is a stock 2013 dually frame that's fully boxed, I'm not worried. My loading is definitely more focused than a leaf spring setup, but this frame is so overkill I'm not worried about it.
@FedUpFab thanks for the reply. I was considering a similar setup on a 2nd gen frame and I don't think it would hold any weigh that far out.
@shawnsack1 It would probably be ok, but it would always be in the back of my head for sure! This frame is stout and that's why I went with it!
My concern is if your slightly leaning when you hit the speed at which the the bags separate. I was considering a similar setup but I was going to put a level valve at each side and then find a way to bypass the level valves for articulation when needed.
You might want to add manual override switches for your air bag isolation solenoids, maybe you want to level left right one day, just a thought. Keep up the good work!
Looking great. Keep up the good work.
Lot's or progress man, really coming together and looking sweet. Great plumbing on the air bags. You seem to work well in cold weather so after this coming week you might be finished....
Thanks! Haha this isn't the North Carolina winters we were expecting - that's for sure! 😆
Can't actually watch this until I get home from work, but throwing a comment in just to help the channel/algorithm.
Appreciate that! 🙏🙏
Stout! 💪
No turbo? Haha
No offense but I’m thinking that place is gonna be hard to heat.
yea i building a f350 and need a trans OD stick 4x4 for the 79 roll back
how much boost were you running when the piston failed?
edit. nvm 🤣
Because bigger is better nuff said 😂
Looking way cooler than I thought it would, great work man. Merry Christmas to you guys.. A roll cage on the wife's side could be considered a present 🎁....
Merry Christmas! Maybe I'll get a roll cage for both sides haha
She is a beefy unit!!!
Merry Christmas; the truck looks fantastic!
Love that you do stuff with the magnum engines. Not as much low buck fun like you see with the ls motors, even though they are pretty good engines
Dude you do some cool stuff
🙏🙏🙏
Yeah I was wondering where you got the radius arm kit at that's pretty cool man I got a Ford and the dodger front differential thank you
14:16 my 5.9 magnum snapped the output shaft clean off going into the transfer case. Granted it was the 23 spline main shaft, but google webs says it’ll hold up to 400-600lb ft of torque. It’s damn near impossible for a stock 5.9L v8 could snap it. Offroadking even called bullshit on it being stock. 😂 so they sent me an upgraded input and main shaft. Bought new synchros but kept the old gears. 2nd was the rough one. Took a file and made the house peaks again with the gear. I dunno what I did wrong or if it’s the cheap clutch I got off scamazon jungle website, truck shifts like butter, crisps but smooth as ever shifting while it’s cold, but once it’s a bit warmed up it doesn’t like going from forward to reverse. I have tried a few different MT redline fluids. Same. Hate to pull it all again, I’m just eh redneck wrenching in his driveway. That isn’t level… 195lbs is a lot of weight for my fatass today… so I don’t wanna go back in there.
How am I just now stumbling on this channel???? Fkin censorship 😐🤨☠️
Glad you found us! It's a constant struggle with censorship
You kinda sound like Hank Hill
😂
Freaking stoked to see this thing rippin bud!
Same here! Trying to do things right the first time though is making it take a bit longer
@ well shit I’ll be here when ya do gonna be so freakin wicked!
Don't think I would have welded those mounts to the frame. Grade 8 bolts are better. No welds to crack or tear out chunks of the frame on a side load. But it isn't my build it's yours. Looking forward to completion. Always wanted a short bed 3/4 ton truck.
Hey thanks for doing this video.... .I've built tons of Hemi's mostly Eagle based 5.7's & 6.4's I never noticed the difference in ringland location on the pre-eagle pistons vs the eagle pistons..... Excellent perspective..... That explains why we are able to run such high boost levels on the stock bottom end eagle engines..... Nicely done.
Toss the hemi in the 2500
Cool what part of nc are you in im in upstate South Carolina spartanburg area
Nice. We're up near the VA border, north of Winston

Are you putting a heat exchanger/radiator out front for the intercooler
That's the plan. Just need to find one thin enough with enough surface area!
How much boost was this and still a 360?
360 magnum 20psi I believe
Sure is!
Sure is!
You got it! 😁
Going to be super rad!!!!
How much boost was this?
It's been living at 20psi for awhile. I haven't turned it down.
@ I’m loving this and that dang truck is a monster! You are doing multi layer steel gaskets and head studs as of now right
@@davecaresforyou7606 yes sir!
It would be nice to have a pair of hump hose on that intercooler tube.
Sick , when I get back from my winter holidays I'm getting on my compound turbo 24v '49 dodge wayfarer 😁
Can I ask where you got the throttle body adapter from?
I think it was eBay?
Crazy Work! 👍💪
💪🙏
100% iron fed beef baby! That’s going to be so damn sweet!
Hell yeah! Itching for it to be done!
nice work! i´m really interrested in the controlsystem for the bags, currently running bags on my 55 buick, but not happy with the controls. keep up the good work! (also, running 5 pounds of boost in my 5.2 magnum powered 74 dart now )
Sweet build so far! Im itching to do something similar to this on my 05 Chevy 2500hd crew cab short bed 2wd. I really like your lower trailing arm setup with the bags! Im going for a lowered stance, and i want to do powertour with it, so autocross and drag racing (not gonna be fast, lol) and just a fun cruiser. Somewhat a version of a modern muscle truck, I guess. It's still a 6.0l but eventually maybe a forced induction 6.0l, you know, because why not? 😆
Thanks! I'm just trying to build a do everything truck
