How We Got Monetized With One Video! Advice For Upcoming Content Creators 2022
How We Got Monetized With One Video! Advice For Upcoming Content Creators 2022
We started out this journey in February 2022. Having watched Wode Maya, Tayo Aina and a few others, we really did not raise our expectations of getting monetized high. We gave ourselves an Eight (8) year target because the 4000 watch hours needed and the 1000 subscribers seemed so insurmountable to achieve. To our greatest surprise, we hit this target 5 months after in July 2022.
A single video accounted for our getting monetized that quickly. It was the one we did not ever think would gain as much traction. it cost us the least, even videos we shot in Benin Republic did not gain as much traction. That has taught us that all viewers need was educational contents that they can relate with.
We celebrated this with a weekend trip to Badagry. Enjoy this video which also contains a business tip for our viewers especially those who reside in Nigeria.

Sponsor, just because most of the continental Africans today are under the age of 25, that doesn’t mean that that is the majority of your viewers! There’s so many people out in the world, who have an interest in the Benin republic, and they look to your videos for INFORMATION, not ENTERTAINMENT! So you can keep trying to appeal to the minority of your audience, or you can start paying attention TO THE ADULT VIEWERS with interest IN BENIN, instead of catering to us - JUST A LITTLE MORE 😜… but I have a sneaky feeling that I need to go somewhere else to try to find the INFORMATION on Benin….Goodbye, and BEST WISHES TO YOU oo🙏🏾🔥💯

O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitan (Satan) deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and Qabiluhu (his soldiers from the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the Shayatin (devils) Auliya' (protectors and helpers) for those who believe not. (Their allies deceived them) like Shaitan (Satan), when he says to man: "Disbelieve in Allah." But when (man) disbelieves in Allah, Shaitan (Satan) says: "I am free of you, I fear Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)!" Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you.

Gracias, buen video.

Identity crisis, the black man in Africa believes he's a Brazilian living in Africa, while the black man in Brazil sees himself as an African living in brazil. Adorning, glorifying, and flying the flag of another country you claim to be yours and a Lagos you claim to own. There is no true Nigerian identity, we only use the term 'Naija' when it suits us for style purposes. True Identity is that many are simply returned Ghanaians, Senegalese, Nigerians, Angolans, etc. There was no black race in Brazil before the inception of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

What a load of nonsense!!!! The freed slaves from Brazil did NOT return as Brazilians! They returned as free Africans who yearned to come home from where they were taken from! Even though they did return from Brazil, they were not Brazilian citizens, and the horrors of discrimination continued unabated even after the end of slavery! It was this situation that forced them to return back to Africa! Now that was the success story there! This rubbish needs to stop!! The Nigerians of supposedly Brazilian descent are now rooted here in Nigeria! Did they bring some aspects of their experiences in Brazil? Yes they did, including their names! But their roots is in Africa! They are Nigerians for centuries! Brazil is never their roots ! Lagos Nigeria is ! So Lagosians should stop flying the Brazilian flags and hankering for what doesn't exist!!

Did u hear when he passively talked about how other people will mismanage and not take care of the birds? Too much insincerity and This cuts across board. Many people(Nigerians) don't take other people's investments serious yet they want to get paid. They steal, cheat, mismanage and still want to get paid! Sense of entitlement. And then, they will turn back and say that an employer is bad or that there are no jobs. Ordinarily, he could employ 5 people or more but his past experience that he didn't mention made him to take care of his farm by himself.

@@heritageafrique7550 Yes but Nigerians in Nigeria are different. The "get rich quick" and "how to be rich free/not putting in the work" fuels the insincerity and this mentality has to stop. Most readily want to reap comrades off at any turn😢. There are no get rich quick scheme anywhere in the world except to steal, which has consequences if caught.
