Omg this is awesome, Im so glad you posted this! I found out about Strata when yal opened up for Chevelle in SF that year and i immediately bought the album. No matter what, I always start singing Piece by Piece whenever I take something apart 😂 it really is a banger. I always wondered why no fame but after I woke up to how the world really is in 2019, I just assumed that you guys mustve been too real to get sucked into the garbage system that is the production companies etc. Count your hidden blessings good sir, you very likely dodged a bullet! But I wouldnt be surprised if the internet could now change the amount of listeners. Perhaps keep uploading videos like this? You seem to have great charisma for it. But even if you dont - who knows what the future now holds nowadays, its all changing so fast. I believe/hope that your music will still be heard, it very well mightve just been ahead of its time. Thats what I choose to believe anyway. Thanks again for uploading this, what a quick 20 years that was. And thanks even more for making that music! Dont hold back from utilizing the internet for more if you were to feel so inclined 😉

btw. I didnt even know that Hrag has Armenian roots but I have been to Armenia this year and felt much empathy with its people and their history. And the red wine is incredible!

This is a great tune Strata, but why abandon the style from your 1st album after the DOWNSIDE project? I had the pleasure to meet you all briefly in Burlington VT. Received your autographs on a napkin, you opened up for Chevelle, yet you guys were the best band that played that night, making sure you stood out opening with PIECE BY PIECE and the emotional scream from the 📣 into the mic. ... you lost me with the attempt to try an all together different sound with that second album. Keep going PIECE BY PIECE Guy's...

I remember like it was yesterday, I have seen a video clip of Never There in Sound Track Channel, showed to my friends, we became addicted. Strata bring such a strong feeling of nostalgia, cant even describe! I really wish we can come together to see Strata live soon, it will be a dream come true.

I feel this song is sort of a blend of the styles of your self-titled and The End of the World, a bit more towards the latter, digging the song. You have a great and unique rock voice Eric.

I'm disappointed in this song. With what I know personally about Eric and his activism, I was assuming I would hear him speak out on some real shit going on on the world, but this was just more tired empty phrases and rock n roll statements that add up to exactly nothing. Hope u guys try to make a statement next time and not just add to all the white noise that is modern rock. We need artists willing to stand up for truth and I'm not hearing it here.

First album was one of the best of the 2000's This does not come close. BUT- I missed this vocal style of Eric!! I'm gonna add my own distorted guitars on this to make it sound like the first album.. (hate the poppy WOOOOOH..)
