Man!!! Ya’ “dissing” on bluegills and crappies. I disagree with ya’ completely in that regard. I look forward all winter long to fly fishing for bluegills outta a float tube. Adversely through the dog days I look forward to feeding a bucket of minnows to “toilet seat”crappies in the fall….landed a fair number of 30s” pike on ultralight gear that way. …I also disagree totally dining preference! Bluegill blow crappie away as table fare.

Aye i know this could be a possibility that your state allows this. But i would do a quick check up on the laws regarding goldfish. In my state even if i own the pond it can be a ticket if they ever find out. There considered invasive. Literally seen a youtube video of a guy do this in my state and he had thousands of them. And they used his youtube video as evidence which is why im commenting. He was fined and im not sure what happened to the fish but id imagine he had to remove them all somehow.

These reels are far from "Light weight", over 270Grams (9+ounces) is really heavy for their 2000 size reel, for 30$ more you can buy Daiwa Laguna, better quality, ALOT lighter and better quality. just keep that in mind.
