We are the custodians of Australia’s key trade gateways.
NSW Ports holds long term leases to manage Port Botany and Port Kembla, which together handle millions of tonnes of diversified range of trade each year.
We are also proud to be custodians of the Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre and Cooks River Intermodal Terminal. With direct rail links to Port Botany, these intermodal hubs play a key role in supporting NSW’s freight task and help reduce truck movements on Sydney’s roads.

NSW Ports - Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre – servicing Sydney and NSW
Since NSW Ports took over the management of the site in 2013, we have been investing $250m to develop this key logistics hub to ensure it continues to sustainably service Sydney and NSW into the future. The Enfield precinct includes an intermodal terminal, empty container storage and industrial lots for logistics, freight forwarding, packing and unpacking, transport and warehousing.

second lot of intercity trains .first lot to replace the Vsets couldn*t negotiate the inclines and tunnels up the Blue Mountains ..that*s why the existing toilets are locked off and in suburban service

if you read the description, it says "to be introduced in NSW in 49 years" so we have plenty of time left with the v sets
its in its final testing stages and will be released in the next 3 months
If you read it more carefully, it says it’s the first intercity trains to be introduced in 49 years, meaning that the last time intercity trains were introduced was 49 years ago
