The elimination rounds did not start until about 10oclock pm. I was running in the street class, and I broke out on my first elimination round and bought back in and made it all the way to the finals. I was going to redo the fuel system anyways, so I chose to go with deatschwerks fuel system. I got their fuel pump, the fuel filter and the line and fittings. Can you explain how to disconnect the transmission
I used a screwdriver to disconnect the clips that healed the lines in, but there is a special tool to remove the lines
I just went down the track at beach bend for the first time in my 96 gt
This video I done of beach bend was my first time down the track ever.

The removal of the transmission lines is at the first half of the video

Great info. Did you rivet or screw the rubber clamps to the underside? Any issue with drilling through the floor like water coming up?
I riveted the rubber clamps and I used the holes from factory

I replaced the factory proportion valve with the Hurst line lock. What pictures do you want

You will have to go through the hole between the floor and the subfram connector.
Is it suppose to have two lines or just one intermediate line cause I'm short at the rear at subframe.

Do I need the line from master cylinder to union or union to rear? I'm just trying to get rubber hose off tail pipe and 4 cylinder car it runs down passenger side v8 it runs down side then cuts to the center I guess. Good video thanks for the help.
You will need the upper brake hose bracket and the rear end center upper rear brake hose. The hard line will run the same until you get to the rear

I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider with the 4.7 .. identical to your Dekota .. have a crack in the exact same area as yours was . Going to have to replace the radiator . Thank you so much for this video. Will help me alot

It was the 4.7 or the 4.8 I forget but it should work for either.
@@2003abby Took my rad out today - left the coolant lines connected and swing the rad resting on top the passenger fender, struggled a little with coolant lines a little, however once i used a fine pic i was able to get under and pop them out easily. I'm after the engine mount bolts, as i need to jack up the motor up in order to swap the punky oil pan. Mine is the 3.7. Cheers.

I have oil in radiator but no water in oil???
You might have a crack in the head gasket where oil is getting into your water or a cracked block
You may also check your transmission to see if it has a milky look to it
The trans looks fine.. the oil does too. I was thinking maybe oil cooler?

It could be the oil cooler that has a crack and putting oil in the radiator

How you reconnected the hidraulic pipes?
You will have to push the line in first and then push the c-clip or e-clip down so it can hold the hose in. I used a screw driver to remove the clip and put it back

What was the total amount of time for removing and replacing the radiator?
It would take you a full day to remove the old radiator and to put the new radiator in
I just did mine in an hour and a half on the side of the road.
