Thank you for the update with r262 and the prototype set service in summer 2026 or later.

2026: The R44 (SIR) and R46 are retired because the R211 fleet has finished delivery. 2030: R62 and R62A fleet is retired and replaced with the R262 cars. The contract award is scheduled for summer of 2024, with the first cars being delivered in summer 2026 and full delivery by the summer of 2030. The manufacturer, whoever’s chosen, plans to deliver approximately eight cars per month.

When the R62s came in service, there should be a slide for 1987-1988 retirement of the R17/22 cars For R68s, there should be a slide for retirement of the R10/16 cars in 1989 and R27 in 1990 For the R46s, there should be a slide for retirement of the R1-9 cars in 1977
