Quelle leçon d'interprétation dans ce cours de ballet, très difficile pour le danseur d'exister dans les pas de deux des ballets romantiques, ne pas prendre de coups de genou, ne pas s'empêtrer dans le tutu, porter sa partenaire sans effort apparent, et s'effacer comme un marionnettiste japonais ! quelle abnégation ! quand on voit le travail de chaque instant, tout ce qui doit être intégré, techniquement et artistiquement ! les danseurs, filles et garçons sont vraiment des héros pour moi ! le plus triste c'est que leur carrière soit si courte.

I didn't know him at all until recently when I started to watch different company at different times. Always loved ballet but they were not accessible but thanks to YT now I can watch one as beautiful as Manuel dancing or coaching etc. I do believe he's one of the best male principals I have ever seen. The technic, the air, the elegance backed by great acting that never go over board which is THE CLASSICAL BALLET style. I'm glad I found him.

Manu is always so incredibly beautiful to watch, whether he is dancing or coaching. I think he is so underrated as a male dancer--maybe because his era did not have the amount of social media and the exposure dancers have today.

They really ought to listen to recorded orchestral . . . in their spare time. . .to get a handle on the airiness of dance. Using the piano is good for mastering the mechanics. But the goal is for 'THE' performance. . .with orchestra.
