Awesome stuff! I do have a question, did Yoshihara-san correct or give you really specific directions when animating that part? I see some of his influence, like the limbs acting more linearly with the tail or the way everything is storyboarded with unorthodox angles.
Thanks! Can't remember too much but generally you have a meeting at the start where they let you know their intentions. For ep 4, I don't think there was anything too specific as my cuts seem pretty straight forward and I mostly just followed the storyboards exactly. But I recall getting technical notes in the corrections phase.. For example, it was their idea to add shadows from the buildings in the tentacle shot, fixing up the camera in the impact shot and how things should be lit, etc. I am not too experienced, so the corrections definitely helped move it in the right direction
