There is many intriguing things and very old has been found in indonesia beside Gunung padang. Example. the Oldest Cave Painting in the Sulawesi dating 51.200 Years Old , next is The Oldest Surgical amputation of a limb is Found in Borneo dating 31.000 years ago. and with Amputation, they will also need Tools and Medicine. that's means 31.000 years agom they already mastering many advance Technique, they are not primitive like we thought. and the Skeleton also Found Under a Grave with red paint and decorated with red colored stone. meaning the already have Burial Tradition 31.000 years ago. and with Burial Tradition we can suspect they already have some kind of Belief/Faith. 31.000 Years Ago the already have that Tradition and Faith. so in the next thousands years that Faith and Believe will Evolve and it's not impossible if they make a prototype Gunung Padang / the oldest layer of gunung padang as the start. and there is 1 more Interesting Fact. do you know Mount Bromo ? there is very old Tradition in Mount Bromo called Yadnya Kasodo, the Tradition is throwing a Sacrifice to the center of Volcano Crater, in the ancient time they did that so the GOd [Mount Bromo] will not Erupted and when it's erupted they will did it so the God will not Angry and become Calm Again. but now, they did that as form of gratitude to the Sang Hyang Widhi[The One and Only God] for the abundant livestock and agricultural products and the hope that disaster will be avoided. so i want to say. maybe the first group that make a temple in gunung padang is this kind of group. The Group that Fear and Worship Volcano. at that time when Gunung Padang Still a Volcano. they fear and Worship it and make simpel altar at the top and sculpt a ladder from bottom to the top to make it easier to travel . then after it slumber and not become active Volcano again or maybe after the last eruption and become dead volcano, they are confused about what to do next. some faithful believer stay in there, some of them searching another grand Volcano. then later it's forgotten , next new group of people come and see a mysterious temple at the top, they use it, renovated it and make it mroe bigger and vast. then forgotten again, next group come and do a similar things. it happen again and again. until it become Gunung Padang we seen today. or maybe not? :D
