You didnt even play it right lady 😂
Care to send me a correct video?
Thanks. God bless you. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31
You are the best teacher I have ever followed. As a newbie in music, I can see light from your explanations. Thumbs up. I am really interested to learn more from you.
@@GeoffreyAtinga Thank you so much!!!
thanks a lot ,very helpful
Thanks for letting me know. I'm really happy it helped you!
Great technique and that works for my son😊
That's great!
Me and my step sister were pratist amazing Grace in piano
Awesome!
Not sure if 3 is too young to a child to start piano. Suzuki teachers think kids should start at an early age. Coming from a non-musical family myself, my parents were not keen sending kids to music lessons (piano, cello, violin, guitar, etc).
I wrote my Color Me Musical books for kids age 3 - 4. It's not too young!
❤
your fingering position is very helpful....thank you for sharing...
@@Donna_R.S.1167 you're welcome!!
Grateful Rising Connie. You are awesome. Be encouraged.
Very nice, thanks
You're welcome!!
Thank you so much for sharing this great advice!
You are so welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful!
I'm glad I found your channel. I'm a beginning player. This should help me a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! I saw that you asked for access to the worksheet. I gave that to you (I don't know why it's not just automatic! ). But let me know how you do with the scales. There are also tutorial videos to play songs.
@@MusicMentory, thanks. I got it. Are the tutorial videos to play songs in the drop box? Also, do you do tutorials based on requests?
@LilyBell-Beneaththecrust2023 the other tutorials are videos on this channel on the playlist "tutorials". I will take requests... but I have to make sure it's a simple chord structure. What do you have in mind?
@@MusicMentory, I'd like to learn to play the Old Negro Spiritual, Let My People Go. thanks, LilyBell
@@LilyBell-Beneaththecrust2023 I will look into it!
QQ question???? What is the musical staff and piano key software program that you are ‘marking on’ for note recognition? I searched and it looks like Staff Pad is such a product, but I couldn’t tell if it had a piano key display option.
I am just annotating on a pdf of a sheet of music staff paper.
My girls would love to learn this
Cool I wonder if anyone realizes hour brilliant this is
😍
Hello can you help me makes a tutorial how to teach a 4yo piano main chord?
His father asked me to teach his son.... I think this is possible, becauese his son just learn piano with me about 6 months
Are you asking me to make a video on how to teach chords to a 4 year old?
@@MusicMentory yes, can you help me for that? Thanks before
I suck at sight reading
When the girls do this little course, you will get better at it too!
Thank you so much, Connie! So much valuable information and the wisdom of experience 🙏🏻
Thanks for your comment, Joey!
Sound track needs to be louder
Thanks. I'll work on that.
❤ love the detail

nice
Thanks!
thank you so much for sharing. Kudos! hope to learn from you again.
I'm so glad this video helped you!
Thank you so much for this! I have been playing an even more simplified version. This will help me step up my learning ❤
@@adgurl01 so good to hear!!
Love the tutorial.... I'm waiting for more
What songs would you like a tutorial for?
The only thing I'd recommend is for the hands to be a little more distinct. Thumb lower down and such, since it can be hard to distinguish on the ones shown.
Thank you.
This is sound advice for any parent, and once again, thank you for posting so many helpful videos. I have found every one I've watched to be interesting and informative. This is not in any way intended as a criticism of content for this particular one, because the content itself got me thinking, and these are my thoughts for what they are worth: As someone who is fairly new to teaching - and I'm sure there are others in my position - I am wondering is it really always best to send a new learner to the most experienced teacher? In our local area, the very best and most experienced teacher, who is also an examiner and festival adjudicator, could potentially be quite frightening to a sensitive child or adult. It is my own teacher/mentor to whom I am referring, recommended to me by a friend (also a piano teacher) who advised me "they are a scary person, but they are the best, and will get you on". I am getting old, and have grown a thicker skin over the years. I generally get on well with with my teacher, but there have been a few occasions when I could easily have walked out of my lesson due to the manner in which feedback was delivered. I didn't, but as an adult, I have that choice. A young learner doesn't. My teacher would definitely not have been the right fit for me when I was a very shy 4yr old beginner. I appreciate that there are also teachers out there who are wonderful with young people, but who frankly can't teach! One of my granddaughters had such a teacher. Thankfully she now learns with someone who knows what they are doing (not me, I hasten to add - much too far to travel) I have set my charging rate in line with my experience, and it is rightly not as much as I pay for my own lessons, but does that make me, or others in my position a less desirable teacher? I would like to think not. For me, it's early days, and time will tell. I believe every student is an individual, and as a teacher, the challenge is to find the best way to teach each one, tailoring the method and rate of instruction to their individual needs, and making the learning process interactive, enjoyable and fun. All inexperienced teachers need to teach pupils in order to become experienced! I live in an area where some parents have a very good standard of living, and can afford to pay higher rates than I have chosen to charge, but that is not the case for everyone. If a lower charge rate can make music education accessible for pupils who might otherwise not be able to learn, I think it has to be a good thing. I like the idea of interviewing beforehand with the parent of the new pupil (or the pupil themselves if an adult). It is not something that is done so much in the UK, but I can see the value in it. Food for thought - thank you!
Thank you so much im starting my firs lesson with my lil niece and this is going to help me a whole lot!!!

@@MusicMentory great thank you
Brilliant! But how do you sell the parents on this? My students' parents DO NOT like change. lol
Whenever I make a change, I focus on all the benefits to them. This will give them more actual lesson time...that's a plus for parents.
I would love to see HOW to schedule the students. Could you do an example schedule with fictitious students? That would help me visualize how this goes together. Thanks!
Absolutely. I will make a video for that and let you know when it's done.
