I even asked GPT to cast Batman Beyond movie with Cast of Spider-Man No Way Home. Andrew Garfield as Terry McGinnis - the perfect balance between a feisty, young hero and someone dealing with the burden of being the new Batman. Andrew has the emotional depth and energy to carry the lead role. Tobey Maguire as Bruce Wayne - he would masterfully play an older, world-weary mentor who still has the spark of the old Dark Knight. Tom Holland as Max Gibson - here we go for a slight gender swap. Tom could be Terry's genius buddy, supporting him technologically and bringing some humor to the film. He fits as a friend who balances the more serious plot lines. Zendaya as Dana Tan - Terry needs a partner who has character and class, and Zendaya is a bullseye. She seems like someone who can support Terry, but also call him to order. Willem Dafoe as Blight (Derek Powers) - no one plays a better villain than Dafoe. His dark charisma and unpredictability are the definition of Powers. Alfred Molina as Dr. Stefan Callahan - a scientist working with Blight who has secrets of his own. Molina has a knack for playing characters on the edge of morality, so this fits like a glove.

Let's consider that WB has been weird like this for a while. As an example, the multiple embargos that affected their shows is crazy. Legit couldn't properly use Wonder Woman or Aquaman characters in Justice League because DC put an embargo out for shows they never even made. Hell, the Wonder Woman embargo is the reason Big Barda shows up in the future JL in Batman Beyond. It was so much of a hassle just trying to put Diana in the episode that they just swapped her out instead. The embargo is also why Robin didn't show up in The Batman cartoon until _after_ Teen Titans was canceled. Hiring Snyder for a movie universe was also weird. It's no dirt on him, but I don't really feel that Zack was a good fit for making a proper DC movieverse, especially given his comments about Batman as well as his portryal of both him and Superman. Whatever calculus WB uses to make decisions is... completely nonsensical and has been for quite a while.

Biggest fumble of the century. The animation to spider verse is amazing and would’ve suited Batman beyond perfect all they had to do was write a decent script im sure it would’ve gained popularity and been a huge success

There's a minor conspiracy theory going around that a lot of companies are trying to slow roll the fall of their IP until they can sell it to larger conglomerates or overseas to other companies. I don't think about it much before but a lot of recent actions seem to fit that theory.

Warner Bros is allergic to money. Jokes aside, I blame the Board of Directors of WB. If my friend who works there is to be believed, reason for the Minecraft movie is for the sake of a quick cash grab and nothing else. A movie as ambitious as a Batman Beyond film is “too risky” for investors even though it’d be in good hands knowing that it’s the same team behind Spiderverse. They also see it as “too niche” and “obscure” even though countless millennials and gen-z grew up with the show.

We’re at a point where Companies have lost all care for their consumer/customers and have adopted policies rooted in greed and they just started pumping out as much popular stuff as they could whether it was good or not. I miss the days when companies LISTENED to the people that keep these companies afloat.

Like you, Batman has always been my favorite superhero since childhood, all thanks to 1992's cartoon and Kevin Conroy's performance, whose Batman wasn't just vengeance; his was one who took tremendous personal pain turned into something good for homself and others. Nowadays people think Bruce Wayne should've either: go to therapy to deal with his trauma or taken drugs to repress it, but both choices are real-life choice, and Batman is far from that. Realistically speaking, I find it eerie and sad to devote myself to an unattainable idea, without a life of my own outside that idea, just like Wayne, but I still praise him for his courage to make things right after his personal tragedy in his own way, and this is why he's saved me from instability.

We don't need this yet, unless its in the tobey universe

personally I think they should do it for the MCU because I've heard about Tom Holland wanting this to be his last outing as Spider-Man so they could make the new one introduce miles and at the end he takes over as the new Spider-Man for the future
