This game was their first over Georgia in 1996 to snap that streak. This would also be Georgia’s fewest points that season.

My brother and I were at this game. Most of the Clemson fans that hadn’t gotten back to their seats after halftime, missed the Bennett to Richardson lateral on the second half kick. A lot of them never came back.

One of my favorite wins! I was a junior at Carolina and had only seen 1 victory in two seasons up to that point. Storming the field and tearing down the goalposts was something I won't soon forget. It was the start of better things to come.
