Play it LOUD! This is a work in progress. Eventually the model will be displayed on a turntable with a base large enough to hide the recycled ATX power supply, amplifier and various other bits and pieces. The sound files will play when an engine start button is pressed. The only problem is the chatter is civil and not military. Couldn't find anything else appropriate.

Ya our government has buried us with ridiculous debt. Unfortunately the majority of people here have no idea how this came to be and why they still let it go on. They continually vote for people who don't have their best interest in mind to positions of power. They refuse to see that the tax system and federal reserve are enslaving them. Sad really 😢

Incredible! Flying model? Or why is the skin so smooth and lacking usual detail of seams, rivets etc? Or is it completely built from scratch? Really cool either way. Love the cockpit!

Stupid question, can the apron move (longitudinally) while the crossfeed power is on? I'm confused with mine, and it feels like if you're facing the apron should be locked? I can't find this detail in the manual.
I can't tell what most of those switches are even doing!

I love the F 111. This model is a dream come true. It's great how the 4 weapon pylons move when the wings are pivoted. I have a F 111 1:48 with six movable weapon carriers in the assembly. But without the RC. Bye Hans.

its a great shame this kit doesnt have a complete build vid or even partial build of wing mech. anywhere on you tube, other than some useless photo gallery by some ivan dude who doesnt have comments and cant chat to others about certain tricks and techniques on the intricate parts. after searching the internet, its almost impossible to find info that the instruction sheet clearly lacks on details regarding wings.

Does having to change change gears to alter feed speed get annoying
As an old Weapons Systems Specialist on F-111D and F models (USAF '87 - '92) I can say that I am VERY impressed with this model. The best feature, was when during the wing sweep, the wing stations matched the sweep, as they should. Pretty awesome. Now, all you need to do is put the 494th FS logo on it (my squadron) and a big "LN" on the tail, and you're good to go! Great job, bud! Brings back a LOT of memories.
Hi Jonesy97. Thanks for the nice feedback. The 'Pig' or 'Aardvark' as they were known in the US certainly invoke a great deal of respect and admiration from anyone who saw them. Living in Brisbane, Australia, we were spoiled with many a fantastic display of the 'dump and burn' at various events and festivals. Seeing one of these light up an entire city is a sight you're never likely to forget. Wish I could dedicate it to your old squadron, but she's destined to be the RAAF's A8-272, commonly known as the 'Boneyard Wrangler'. This aircraft had a very special history and is now preserved at the Point Cook military academy here in OZ. A good reason for making your next holiday destination here and touring the eight (or nine ?) preserved examples. Cheers, Wayne
