    Cette fugue est une excellente idée. A partir d'un jingle banal ou énervant, vous avez composé une mélodie très plaisante. Bravo et merci 😀 !

    Next time you'll take the french TGV you will compose "The Lamento d'ell Elias" after being charged 130 euros ticket for carrying a theorbo ! The fugue is very beautiful, very nicely played, such an incredible sound (I could add something about the recording but... let's the magic happen 😉)

      @@wllbh eh oui ! sur FaceBook, vous voyez très régulièrement des musiciens qui affichent leur reçu de contravention (montant d'une place sup. j'imagine) pour viole de gambe, violoncelle, théorbe... je ne parle même pas de contrebasse ou harpe, ceux là n'essaient même pas ! Une fois une personne s'est même faite verbaliser sur le quai, avant même de prendre son train. A côté de cela les vélos et les planches de ski sont admis... 🧐

    Liane, what is the flute you are playing? Is it a bass traverso?

    • @lianesadler
      @lianesadler Рік тому

      Hi there! Correct, it's a renaissance bass traverso, in this case made for me by Giovanni Tardino :)

    • @robheathmusic
      @robheathmusic Рік тому

      @@lianesadler Wonderful. I can't imagine how big the hand stretch must be - I would have thought scaling a traverso to the bass register would have made it far to big for anyone's hands!

    • @lianesadler
      @lianesadler Рік тому

      @@robheathmusic Well, it goes to the G below middle C, so technically it's more of an alto instrument - but since on renaissance flute we play almost everything up an octave (especially in consort, where the "bass" flute is primarily in use, covering the bass voice), we call it a bass flute. It is quite a stretch for the hands - for most people it's fine, but I actually had mine made with offset finger holes to help me with that! :)
