Les larmes.
So beautiful ❤️
Did women composers of this era live comfortably doing music and respected during their times...just neglected through history?
So beautiful
That's great!
Meraviglioso, grazie.
Klasse!
Brilliant. What Weiss would have written if he had to wait for trains!
Хорошо.
Complimenti!
MERCI
Cette fugue est une excellente idée. A partir d'un jingle banal ou énervant, vous avez composé une mélodie très plaisante. Bravo et merci 😀 !
Next time you'll take the french TGV you will compose "The Lamento d'ell Elias" after being charged 130 euros ticket for carrying a theorbo ! The fugue is very beautiful, very nicely played, such an incredible sound (I could add something about the recording but... let's the magic happen 😉)
Merci! Haha, great idea! Yes, they have already got me once. At least there is a bit of chromatic lamenting in the fugue already…
Very good. I love it. I hope they buy it from you for a lot of EU$ - they should !!! Would help to calm down future travelers. :-)
Bravo! Beautiful ! ❤
Mind is blown😂😂😂
Magnifique! Merci!
Amazing! I had to smile throughout!
Gorgeous with the gut strings!
Thank you, Brandon! Yes, they have such an uncomparable sonority! :)
yesss finally 🎉🎉❤❤ I love this and you are amazing
😀
Just fugue-ing in the rain!
This matching dress code is quite bizarre 😂
😁 Ausgezeichnet!
Bonsoir Élias, très belle interprétation. Les sonorités de la guitare baroque sont exceptionnelles, surtout quand c’est magnifiquement joué ainsi ! Bravo
Hello is the tablature available ?
Very beautifully played.
Sublime 🙏
Beautiful!
We always thought we would have liked to have lived in the 16th Century......for the music that is. Beautiful arrangement and performance.
Ah ! What a wonderful performance and interpretation of the piece. You made it your own while respecting the music. So much better than a ‘note perfect’ but boring playing. You brought the music to live. Thank you.
Just lovely! Why aren't more people using the renaissance flute this way?
So beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Ein Genuss für Aug und Ohr ❤❤
😵💫 wow …..what a musical delight
The sound in this barn is so rich… thank you for your passion for this music and your sensitive playing❤🎉
Divine playing, setting….
Great, and amazing playing! ❤👏🏻
Sehr schön 😍
Very beautiful interpretation.
Liane, what is the flute you are playing? Is it a bass traverso?
Hi there! Correct, it's a renaissance bass traverso, in this case made for me by Giovanni Tardino :)
@@lianesadler Wonderful. I can't imagine how big the hand stretch must be - I would have thought scaling a traverso to the bass register would have made it far to big for anyone's hands!
@@robheathmusic Well, it goes to the G below middle C, so technically it's more of an alto instrument - but since on renaissance flute we play almost everything up an octave (especially in consort, where the "bass" flute is primarily in use, covering the bass voice), we call it a bass flute. It is quite a stretch for the hands - for most people it's fine, but I actually had mine made with offset finger holes to help me with that! :)
@@lianesadler Very wise! Thanks for the explanation. Do you ever perform in the UK?
I have a fledgling ambition to make copies of renaissance traversos (probably just in D for the moment).
Amazing what you are doing with this. The bass flute has a wonderful quality and so well placed with the lute. What a match! Love the video and the musical concept of bringing this music to life in this way. So fresh and different!
Exquisite!
Im in love wit all performance here! What a deep fantastic sound and lute is amazing too! Bas flute is incredible velvet! I desire more collaborations- both of you👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much for your lovely words!
Wonderful! I need to record this, amazing performance ! bravo!
Thank you so much!! Please do record it, you can find the score on CPDL or the original parts on Gallica :)
@@lianesadler thank you! yes I have it ;) hugs!
Très beau, dommage que le son des basses sature beaucoup, on entend pas bien le medium.
So powerful yet such gentle music. In a unique and intriguing setting. Thought-provoking and intense. Thank you 👏
I love this one. I feel like I'm peeking in on a couple having a great time. Perhaps jamming or writing a song together? It's unusual and uplifting music too, I've never heard anything like it! A refreshing way to perform early music.
🌈
Beautiful! Thank you so much!
👍👋weiter so 🙏
