I know there was an issue with people's NI number being shown when signing up, but was there the same issue with the UTR number or have I got that wrong? I am new to reselling and currently have my vinted account on holiday mode as I do not want any new orders before signing up. I really don't want any personal details such as my UTR being visible. Thanks for any info.

Mercari is kinda sketchy with their rating system. I'm not a fan. Also if something smells like cigarettes and the seller didn't mention that, the buyer is just screwed because mercari can't "prove" that it smells. Then when your return request is denied, you can't rate the seller anymore. So they get to keep their perfect 5 stars after selling you shit. Ebay would just let you send it back and the seller wouldn't be out any money.

Don't buy on Mercari anymore. Aside from the tax and shipping charges, they will also charging now for rip off Processing fee and Service fee. The total price will ended up almost doubled.

Cross listing is definitely not a good idea. I sell on ebay and put same listing's on vinted. Vinted deleted every listing last night, flagging it up as commercial selling. They don't offer vinted pro in UK, so only want the wardrobe clearers, professional photos are a red flag, new items too, as are multiples in certain categories, making regular high volume sales every month will also trigger potential deleatng/suspending account

Today is Saturday. I finally had time to open Poshmark & ​​Mercari. It took me about an hour to open an account. I listed a Moncler coat, two pairs of Tory Burch shoes, and a pair of earrings. After 6 or 7 hours later and I received a message saying that my account was closed. I don’t know why. I LOVE MERCARI But, I HATE their support system. It’s the worst between all the other selling apps. I only have one account with mercari. After hearing they had the no fee selling. I went back and starting selling for 3 months this. I was selling 100$ 200$ items.. it was going great. Out of nowhere.. My account got banned saying I have multiple ones.. Like.. ok.. I contacted the support, and no one answers.. it’s horrible. Mercari for sure it’s the better app if you want to resell quick and easy. Just post with the right information and tags, and price. And you will be going up fast.

Depop is fraud. Been banned for lige because I listed a zippo lighter !!!! while at the same time I had already 2 more zippo lighers active, also hundreds of zippos active from hundreds sellers..!!! I told them everything, but they didn’t listen at all..!!! Then I realised why they were not changing their decision. They hold all my payouts after that day..!!! They robbed me more than £200..!!!! I was asking my payouts for 2-3 months, they never replied about my payouts…!!!!! These are 1000% robbers…!!!! Videos to follow as we are not finished of course.

You can starve to death relying on mercari because buyers are so cheap you can't even feed your family or pay one single bill. They will low-ball you to death. Sometimes I even forget I'm selling on there for a few days and when I check back the cheapest item I have was sold. And I have high quality collectibles and antiques that probably should be in a auction house. I think they view mercari as a two bit flea market or something.

i need some help, so i bought some shoes off depop and the guy asked me to leave him a good review so he could get “cheaper shipping” but I don’t think it works like that, so in my mind I’m thinking this is suspicious but I REALLY want these rick owens so I don’t know what to do. Because he could just be sustaining me from leaving me a bad review after he potentially scams me.

I ordered some shoes then I checked the tracker it says it has arrived and when I went to look for it they usually leave it in a parcel box but there was no key or anything and I noticed a small package with a cord for like an Xbox and they where saying that something about their warehouse which I highly doubt it exists did I get scammed lol?
