Where i have surgery i go to Omaha for my orthopedic surgeries
If i have to have surgery i go to my primary care doctor for a pre op appointment for surgery
Love him n i had the surgery lil as him but u have to keep up with it
My eyes had a owie
WHAT time Is his eye WHAT wrong WHAT his eye how OLD IS YOUR son surgery WHAT time Do you have TO be at THE hospital THE right ARE THE left eye
My son Vinny is 3. Notice his left eye turning inward when focusing, progressed more frequently over four months, pediatric visit, refer to a vision doc, he was prescribed glasses, thick ones, 6.50 -1.25×180, 6.50-1.00×170. Farsighted. Intermittent Esotropia Accommodative. Now up to this point I had never had Vinny fall, bump his head. Points out planes to letters when reading books. I needed a 2nd opinion. I week after this visit went to a pediatric ophthalmologist, through the basic eye exam, droplets she prescribed Vinny different lens. 5.75 -1.00 005, 6.00 -1.75 039. She also said Vinny has accommodative esotropia, farsighted, 20/40 vision in left (eye with esotropia)20/25 vision in right. That surgery is not recommended. I'm scared, I'm trying to understand the doctors language. I'm currently wearing glasses without lens as Vinny is wearing his glasses ( helps him know its ok to wear glasses, cool dude glasses), it only has been two days. He seems find with them on and does so far straighten the left eye. I just don't know why not surgery, she said to avoid walleye and having to correct again alignment in the future. I m going to get a third, fourth out of pocket or not option. I definitely need two professional docs to have the same opinion. Don't know if there is any advice or knowledge anyone could share, it would be greatly helpful. God bless
We have another son who was prescribed bifocal glasses to help his eyes (one eye would turn inward when he was focusing up close). We tried patching the stronger eye also to help force him to use the weak eye. This was all recommended by the same Pediatric Ophthalmologist who did surgery on our son in the video. I say all this to show that no 2 patients are the same, therefore the treatments may be different. Best of luck to you and your son!
WHAT Times IS his eye surgery HE needs TO DO a eye surgery HE needs TO change into a hospital HE HAVE TO check his eye check grown THE IS funny HE HAVE a glue IN his hair

My 4, almost 5 year old daughter has Strabismus. We are seeing a ophthalmologist at Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. How was Joey's pain after surgery? Was he prescribed a narcotic or was he told to take OTC medicine? The post-op pain is my biggest fear.
Looks like the kids had fun!
My favorite family. ❤️

Hi. Is this video taken after your son's surgery?
Hi Amanda it is emily I like your youtube channel
What kind of surgery he had? I also have a child that tilts his head, because his left eye is not balance with the right..
Ralyn Jaim The medical term is strabismus when one of the eye muscles is weaker than the other one & causes a “lazy eye”. With our son, the eye muscle on top was stronger than the one on bottom. When he was sitting up, gravity helped keep the eye in alignment. The doctor basically loosened the muscle on top that was stronger, so that both muscles would be equal.
@@DivergingLives he is 4 years old now,in pre school already.. I have seen other cases their child having 2 or more surgeries done.. That is what i am afraid of.. A child having those lots of painful surgery.. How about your son?
Our son had surgery right after he turned 4. Only missed a couple days of preschool. It healed up nicely & he no longer has the head tilt! As for more surgeries in the future...we are not sure although as of right now it seems everything is great!
Hi.. After surgery, did the head tilt being straight and his visual corrected?
Ralyn Jaim Yes, almost immediately! It was amazing.
