I discovered your channel from the hyperlexia video and I just want to say that what you do is really great. I know that it recquires a lot of energy and dedication to take care of someone who has gone through a lot of challenges. My respects.

Where i have surgery i go to Omaha for my orthopedic surgeries

If i have to have surgery i go to my primary care doctor for a pre op appointment for surgery

My son Vinny is 3. Notice his left eye turning inward when focusing, progressed more frequently over four months, pediatric visit, refer to a vision doc, he was prescribed glasses, thick ones, 6.50 -1.25×180, 6.50-1.00×170. Farsighted. Intermittent Esotropia Accommodative. Now up to this point I had never had Vinny fall, bump his head. Points out planes to letters when reading books. I needed a 2nd opinion. I week after this visit went to a pediatric ophthalmologist, through the basic eye exam, droplets she prescribed Vinny different lens. 5.75 -1.00 005, 6.00 -1.75 039. She also said Vinny has accommodative esotropia, farsighted, 20/40 vision in left (eye with esotropia)20/25 vision in right. That surgery is not recommended. I'm scared, I'm trying to understand the doctors language. I'm currently wearing glasses without lens as Vinny is wearing his glasses ( helps him know its ok to wear glasses, cool dude glasses), it only has been two days. He seems find with them on and does so far straighten the left eye. I just don't know why not surgery, she said to avoid walleye and having to correct again alignment in the future. I m going to get a third, fourth out of pocket or not option. I definitely need two professional docs to have the same opinion. Don't know if there is any advice or knowledge anyone could share, it would be greatly helpful. God bless

My 4, almost 5 year old daughter has Strabismus. We are seeing a ophthalmologist at Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. How was Joey's pain after surgery? Was he prescribed a narcotic or was he told to take OTC medicine? The post-op pain is my biggest fear.

Thank you for this video. My daughter was 3 years old when diagnosed with acquired non-accommodative esotropia. The doctor said she needed surgery. I pray that this Summer will be the perfect time. She is now 5 years old.

i had a lazy eye surgery a couple of days ago and i’m currently recovering and i’m so proud of my recovery and my eyes.

we have a strabismus surgery on this 15th. my daughter is 28 months old and i m too much scarer. does it pain?? or feels uncomfortable?? my daughter also been through 2 more surgeries in past for skull. hoping this will be recoverd faster.

I can't see that far so I have to get a lot closer to the words at school and I can't read tiny I have magnafire at school i.m I 8th grade
