I have a particular fondness for mild coffee. From Nespresso, my selection includes Nicaragua, Colombia, Shanghai Lungo, Tokyo Lungo, Vienna Lungo, Inspirazione Roma, Arpeggio, Volluto, and Nocciola with milk foam. I find Istanbul Espresso unbearable-it has a vinegary taste-and both Stockholm and Ristretto are far too toasted for my liking. As for Paris Espresso, I’d much prefer to savor it alongside a croissant or pain au chocolat. After all, life is already quite bitter and intense as it is. Nevertheless, you’ve curated an excellent tier list. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about nespresso pods!

Where is this place?

Last week I made a Nescafe Frappe - for the first time and I couldn’t believe it actually tasted great (despite using instant coffee). So, I had recreated this recipe with my Nespresso coffee maker - and was shocked! Nespresso Frappe recipe 1. Shot of Nespressso (40ml, I used Kazaar intensity 12 as it has Robusta beans and I thought this will be close to the instant coffee intensity) 2. Add 2 tsp sweetened condensed milk 3. 4-5 ice cubes 4. Top it off with milk (about 80ml) Note: I like how it turned out, but !!! I have to admit the instant Nescafe frappe just tasted better! Next time, I will try it with Ristretto shots (more concentrated coffee, 25ml) as I felt the coffee turned out a bit too diluted.

I have a geeky tip. I used to turn it off manually after i used it by pressing both button in the same time, fast press. It saves unnecessary heater operation, prolonging its life.

I have a confession: I don’t like instant coffee - but a Nescafe Frappe is the exception! Here’s the recipe: 2x tsp Nescafe powder 40 ml water (room temperature) 2 tsp sweetened condensed milk (or sugar, other syrup) 4-5 ice cubes How I make it: Step 1: Mix the instant coffee (and sugar if you’re using) with water using a hand held frother. Froth until the foam is stiff. Step 2: Add sweet condensed milk (skip if you used sugar earlier) and ice cubes Step 3: Top it off with some milk (roughly 30-40ml) Enjoy!!!❤

When it comes to iced latte recipes here are some of my favorites: 1. Barista Creations - these include the flavored pods (Vaniglia, Caramello) and the Corto, Scuro pods. I find these pods work best in iced and flavored latte recipes. 2. Dark roast pods like Ristretto contain a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans which make it stand out even in milk recipe. 3. Pods with a medium roast and higher acidity like Istanbul and Colombia work amazing in iced lattes too Which coffee pods do you buy for Iced latte?

I got an espresso machine for $8 a Goodwill. I had to replace the water jar for about $16. I got the pods with a credit balance on a gift card. I can’t wait to use the machine. I hope it’s not damaged. I’m dying to try the coffee.
