question is where can you get them in stores without having to go online
It depends on where you live. The Intermountain Farmers' Association sells ours in their IFA Country Stores. For the most part you would find them in stores that sell freeze dried food items and those that cater to farmers and homesteaders.

We have been getting our bags and oxygen absorbers from PackFreshUSA for almost 2 years now. (for home use, about 1000 bags) Our current favorite bags are the Seal Top Gusset 7 Mil Stand Up Mylar Bags. So far these have been great bags; my only criticism is that the sealing area on the 2 quart bag is a little shorter than the other sizes and therefore a little harder to get a smooth seal.
Thank you for choosing PackFreshUSA! We have actually received similar feedback regarding our 2 quarts and therefore we do plan on making the sealing area wider like our other gusset bags on our next production run.
@@packfreshusa I just wanted to let you know that we got a 900 pack of the new 2 quart Seal Top Gusset Mylar Bags a few months ago and they do indeed have the wider seal area and they are GREAT! Thanks for making the change for all of us using them.

I just spoke to Ola at length on the phone with some questions about an order and how to properly store rice and I have to say I have never spoken to a person more excited or knowledgeable about food storage and preservation. I look forward to using the mylar bags I have ordered! What a nice lady
I noticed that you did not rince the canned fruit - was it packed in juice or syrup?
Hello Ruth, The pineapple was canned in its own juice but if it was in syrup then I would have rinsed. Good eye! What is your favorite fruit to dehydrate?
@@packfreshusa My huaband says that anything that is not in someones mouth is ripe for the dehydrating. I do nearly everything that the three of us cannot eat in a day or so. Right now I have about 6 pounds of grapes working. Red, Green, and Black
