I heard about thee before, but had known them as a "wingless fly". I didn't realize they were quite so small, though, or that they were actually midges.

Arlie Schorger was my great grandfather, he studied and wrote about the extinction of the passenger pigeon he was also a professor at the university of Wisconsin. His son my grandfather left the us to join the British and drive ambulances in Africa before pearl harbor and the usa's entrance to the war he later returned to the us joined the merchant Marines and graduated the day after Germany surrendered. He graduated Harvard and eventually co founded the department of middle eastern anthropology at the University of Michigan. He was my first art mentor, and an amazing human
New World monkeys are almost exclusively arboreal, or tree-dwelling. Panamanian white-faced capuchins come down to the ground more often than other monkeys in the region.

"If I hadn't started painting, I would have raised chickens." - Grandma Moses
I love content like this
I've lately grown interested in the mesozoic era and loved this video it's very entertaining and informative, may I ask what did you study to learn about this in college maybe?
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I actually did a lot of my own research for this using different encyclopedias.
@@WildlifeChronicles434 are there any long documentaries about the mesozoic era that you'd recommend?
I've never seen a long documentary on it but there have been some great series. Walking with Dinosaurs, which aired in 1999, is a good one. I've never seen Prehistoric Planet but I've heard it's very well-done too.
Thanks for creating.
Loved it
There are three other species of junglefowl, all placed in the genus Gallus: the grey junglefowl, the green junglefowl, and the Sri Lankan junglefowl. All are believed to have contributed to the rise of the chicken.
I like this
I hope so
I really love your content!!!

Florida doctors no doubt.
Wolves are stronger than cayotes
Hey I have a question what’s your opinion on speculative evolution/biology?
I think they're interesting topics and that they have validity. Years ago I saw a documentary about hypothetical animals that could appear in the future.
Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t secretary birds also considered raptors?
That's correct. The secretary bird is in the same order as the other raptors, Accipitriformes, but placed in its own family, Sagittariidae.
Not sure if you already had this planned but I have 2 other video suggestions you might like The differences between swordfish, sailfish, marlin and spearfish And the differences between Glyptodontins like gylptodont and doedicurus
😊 awesome video always appreciate fun facts 😮
Well done!!
Eeey I see what you did there with the song that played during the Swan part. Love it!
Make a playlist about unknown Animals

The term waterfowl also sometimes includes other aquatic birds that are not related to ducks, geese, and swans. These include coots, loons, and grebes.

Thanks; short, but efficient video.
Excellent
