Belkyra/Kybella **UPDATE** 8 months later

2 things! • First, I apologize for always looking away. I still find it very awkward talking to the camera, and I didn't really prepare for this, so when I look off I'm typically thinking about what I want to say and how to word it • Also, is using "trampoline" as a descriptive word something people do, or is it only my boyfriend and I? Hahah I rewatched it a I feel like I just dropped a super ...
The **FINAL RESULTS** of my Kybella/Belkyra treatment! Exciting!!!

Thanks for doing this video. I’m currently losing weight but I feel like it’s still going to be a problem even when I reach my goal weight so it’s something I’m going to look into doing once I hit my goal weight and see how everything is looking. I’ve lost 40lbs and seen some improvement but seeing a video of myself from the other day it’s still there and I don’t even want to post the video.

This was so helpful! I am going in for a consult to see if I am a candidate. I am not in an area with many cosmetic offices and finding one with kybella had taken forever! I guess it is not popular here. Like you, I have had a more slanted neck since childhood. No definition at all between chin and neck (way worse than yours). I am hoping dissolving some of that fight with cinch back the area! I am 34 and have always hated it and have always been thin. Even in my 80-90 lb days I had the same neck but as I got older and gained weight (120-130 lbs is my norm now), way more fat was stored there but I am 5’5” and healthy now. Nothing I do in the way of gua sha or face yoga has done a thing!

I can definitely see the difference! Even your jawline looks more defined. My skin also goes from my neck straight to my chin in a triangle shape lol. I was hoping the Belkyra would get rid of that. But apparently if we do micro needling it will tighten the skin.

I have not! Thank you for the recommendation 😊 Btw, I have recently stopped using retinol (for no other reason than I hope to get pregnant in the near future and it’s not pregnancy safe) and I have found a product that has been working WONDERS for me instead of retinol! It’s Azelaic Acid from The Ordinary. From my research it’s safe to use when pregnant, but I’m no doctor, so please don’t quote me on that 🙈. But my skin this past winter has been the best it has ever been since I’ve gotten PD! I highly recommend it. You don’t need a bunch and I have been alternating it with vitamin C serum at night time. Wishing you all the luck in your PD journey! ✨

Sorry to respond just now! But I hope that it works for you! I'm trying out a new product from the Ordinary, it's called azelaic acid. I have been using it for a month and it has been working wonders for me! Especially right now in the winter when my skin gets worse! So I've taken retinol and glycolic acid out of my routine. (Some sites said not to use retinol, even though I found it helped me, but you can't use it if you plan to get pregnant). I plan to make a video after using it for a while, but so far so good!

Great video!!😊 I've had perioral dermatitis for 2 years now😭 and I have literally tried everything. Soolantra cream, Metrogel cream, fungal cream, antibiotics (helped but came back after I stopped taking the pills and sulfur ointment. My dermatologist told me to only wash with water and moisturize (which I have already tried but it didn't do anything) and then after a month, I have to come back for a third appointment. I really hope it will get resolved soon because it really affects my mental health.

@@tiffanymacdonald1971 Thank you💗 I only use the Cerave moisturizing cream from your routine. Besides having PD I also have rosacea, so I have very sensitive skin. For cleanser, I use either Eucerin Dermatoclean cleansing gel or Cerave foaming cleanser and my moisturizer is Cerave moisturizing cream. You are so beautiful even with that tiny fat pad. 😍 I also just had my first kybella treatment and I am so looking forward for a positive result 😊.

Great vid! How is it as of today? My doc said results may not last if I overeat and underexercise again lol

Hey! I think it will be different for everyone depending on where they carry weight. I have definitely put on a few pounds since summer, but I just ran to look at my chin and it looked the same after my second video (there's a final results video if you're curious). Mine was more genetics than anything. My doctor did say to me that when you do this you are killing off those fat cells. So the fat cells that die can no longer regrow, but that isn't to say that the remaining fat cells won't grow and still give the appearance of a double chin. I hope that helps!

@@tiffanymacdonald1971 btw - how many vials/ml's did you get per session please?

@@hotpink000 this seems to be the question everyone wants to know and the main thing I didn't ask 😢 I'm not entirely sure. Someone previously commented that 1 vial is $650 where they are from, so if it's similar then it seems like I had 2 vials each session (I had 2 sessions). But I am not entirely sure. I was more focused on the pain than anything else 🙈 I'm sorry that I don't have the full answer
