I was so on a high thinking about my oncoming cruise. Watching this and the comments have taken a bit of a shine off it, to be honest.
You have to take this as the perspective of an older person. As a ship, the Edge is very good. Celebrity is a good product, but the flashier younger passengers are not for everyone, and you have to adapt to the other passengers. Depends which cruise lines you have used before, and what you are looking for from a cruise. With cruising, you get what you pay for, and with Celebrity their objective is to get you to spend a bit more for the added bells and whistles.
Too damn much camera movement!
I came to see this video of what the good old days of cruising looked like. You won't find this kind of buffet anymore sadly. Especially the wide variety of cheeses, grilled meats like steaks, kebobs, lamb, etc. Heck even the salad bar looks so bare in cruises nowadays 😔. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong please!!

Thank you for watching and commenting on one of my review videos. I thought about your comment, and actually no one at all minded what I was doing, and I have so many positive comments and people asking questions (on all my contributions), that I feel I am contributing something worth while. The crowds give you a feel for how it was, and if I had done it before opening time, it would have been unrealistic.

If you saw some of the passengers, who can be very old and somewhat incapacitated, trying to do this, you would immediately understand.
Dont forget to pay the gratuities..
With all this buffet people still dont pay their gratuities and complaints ..

Weve been on another Celebrity Equinox cruise and this movie is totally representative of the variety in the buffet, and the quality is top notch too. Celebrity aren’t cheap, but it is trie what they say. You get what you pay for!
