My name is Jayse, and welcome to my channel! I am a coaster enthusiast from Hawaii, so if you love roller coasters, you've come to the right place!
A lot of my content here is taking traditional roller coaster segments like countdowns, reviews, analyses, etc, and changing it up a bit for the better.
However, due to where I live, it's very difficult for me to go to amusement parks, so I try to find my way around it by making videos that don't require going to a park. Being a Hawaiian coaster enthusiast, I can also bring a new perspective.
I post countdowns in both forms (talking/music + POVs), 5 Reasons Why, What can we Expect from __, and much more! When I am able to go to theme parks, I post vlogs, reviews, rankings, and comparisons of the new coasters I rode.
In addition to all of this, I may also make videos that help regular people convert to enthusiasts!
So if these are the videos you like, then please consider subscribing!

An IMPROVED X2? - Eejanaika Review Fuji-Q Highland
Ever since riding X2, I’ve wanted to ride Eejanaika, which was reportedly a better X2. After getting the opportunity to actually ride it, I can now say it is one heck of a ride! In this video, I try my best to describe exactly what an experience on this ride is like.

Top 10 Roller Coasters in PENNSYLVANIA Prediction (POV Countdown)
I love OTSRs. They're awesome. They feel really safe, and I like being tightly glued to the seat. Yeah, the head banging does suck, but it's better than barely being able to breathe because you've accidentally pushed the lap bar too far down.
This ride kind of disappointed me. It felt like a smaller Orion
Now watching this, I remember riding Flying Cobras at Carowinds only once. Has anyone else ridden it? If so, how is it?
I rode it after visiting family as in Japan this past summer and yeah it is definitely improved over X2. HOWEVER, it isn’t soo much better than x2 people have hyped it up to be. The music in the que is something else, you’ll be low key brainwashed it’s so repetitive.
I agree Eejanaika isn’t a super monumental leap forward compared to X2. Although to me, the improvements in pacing are quite noticeable!
Terrific review, got me more hyped to ride it next summer
Thank you so much! Hope your Japan trip goes well!
Have fun this ride is awesome
excited to go to japan!!!
Hope u have a great time!
Yeah, but B&M still has the best restraints ever. THE CLAIMSHELL restraints. A piece of art, a masterpiece of engineering
Don’t come here for it. It’s literally never open.

The Pennsylvania 43 footer coaster Did I get it right
Very late to the video, but.. I’d say I have mixed opinions about vest restraints. As a coaster enthusiast, I very much prefer lap bar restraints, especially the ones on Helix at Liseberg. I rode a dive coaster which used vest restraints, and it was very comfortable throughout the ride, even though I didn’t get any airtime it was still an awesome coaster, but they aren’t my favorite restraints. They at least make me feel the safest, but yeah. Also, if they put it down too tight it becomes hard to even breathe or move in the slightest, and it almost hurts, that’s probably what I REALLY dislike about them, but they’re still fine, imo.
In the park near me there is the first bnm wing coaster with the vest restraints and it's not very comfortable, while you are riding it gets tighter and at the end while you are waiting to unload, you really can't inhale a lot
Falcon’s Fury would give me the laughs when it tilted. You’re definitely not sitting in your seat during that 10-20 seconds. The face down drop is exceptional, it feels like you’re flying. I miss my old home park, Busch Gardens :(.
Hey 808coaster life , I Subscribed great videos, also can you do a video on laggon,or seaworld san diego great praks love the channel and hope you reply thanks.
Thank you! If I ever get the chance to go to San Diego or Salt Lake City I’ll definitely make a visit to those parks!
Will it work on pc with contoller?
It will but with more limited controls compared to console edition
@808CoasterLife wtf
i have ridden railblazer it was a great ride
I agree!
It took me till near the end to figure out it wasnt the cup holder coaster he was building
You have weak hands on you that's an average day in the shop panzy
I bet your breath stinks
Agree. And still cut corners.
I’ve been on the one at wild adventures and it’s one of the smoother ones, even though it has over the shoulder restraints
I’m glad that one isn’t so bad. Over the shoulder restraints shouldn’t be a problem as long as there’s no head banging.

Oh my goodness! Your camera confidence and editing skills are AMAZING! Thank you so much for sharing your passion with everyone!
Thanks Trevor! :)
Not a real coaster but Log Flume doesn't have restraints too. Pretty dangerous if you think about it
I found your enthusiast story interesting and I’ve had a similar experience I lived in Hawaii (The Big Island) for 11 years. And I’ve only recently moved to the mainland (Idaho). The first theme park I went to was Disneyland in 2015 and 2017, (I was 10 or 9) where I conquered my fear and rode the then California Screaming. That turned me into an enthusiast and I did a lot of research into coasters, I then attended the local fair in 2018 and 2019 and rode the zipper. I also recognize a lot of the same rides so I wouldn’t be surprised if Maui and the Big Island shared the same fair company. In 2022, I moved to Idaho in the Pacific Northwest but unfortunately the closest park is 4 and a half hours away (Lagoon). I went to Lagoon once and rode Cannibal and the rest of the lineup, I also was able to go to Six Flags over Texas for the solar eclipse in 2023. I hope to someday work at Cedar Point for a season, and I have a total of 20 credits. My Number one is probably The New Texas giant because that is the only RMC I’ve ridden. I like rollercoasters mostly because of airtime and I like the floaty sensation. I am 17 for reference. Sorry for the long comment lol.
Wow your story is definitely similar to mine! I’m very sure our fairs were under the same fair company. I’m also in the mainland attending college and the nearest park to me is 1.5 hours away (Elitches). I hope you get to work at Cedar Point one day!
So coaster "enthusiasts" prefer air time to safety. Got it.
what is getting stapled?
I love the lap bars on magnum and steel vengeance they give so much freedom
I feel I don't have a home park,no live in Hawaii 😭 is nice here tho
Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
I agree
Yea

Not much can beat that!

The property was sold but cedar fair is not closing this park.
Families spend more per capita at theme parks. Drawing more Families means more revenue for future capital expenditure. So when the time comes for a big intense thrill coaster. There will be money to go all out and make it truly great.
Agreed. At this time, parks investing in family coasters are kinda future proofing themselves
I was aware of Intamin being froze out now i have more understanding as to why. Interesting video.
Glad you found it interesting!
This was the first roller coaster I rode, back in the mid 1980s at Magic Springs in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It was painted white with a black train. If you were lucky to be there on a slow day, the ride operator would let you stay on as long as you wanted. It did break down often in those days. There is a wooden roller coaster called The Arkansas Twister in it's place now, which came from a defunct amusement park in Florida. 👍🏻
Awesome that you got to ride it at its original location!
What does "Stapled" mean? You said it a few times.
When the restraint comes so far down on you that it’s painful
i have ridden a lot of no restraint coasters. coasters like these are quite popular in european fun funfairs which usually come in a layout of a figure eight or oval
that intro is fire
Enjoying your Japan series so far! Are more vlogs coming?
Unfortunately this was the last one from this trip but I’m glad you enjoyed them!
5:07 The Phone 💀
Can someone please explain to me how I won't fall out of a Giga's first drop without consciously pushing my things/lower body into the lap restraint? I've only been on one about 5 times, but each time I felt like if I didn't actively try to prevent it, I'd fly out. I know people pass out on 'coasters and they don't fly out. Should I just let go of this fear and try to get as much air time as possible, knowing that I am secure (somehow)? BTW, I am about average to slightly above in weight. Nothing crazy.
As long as you fit the height requirement, the lap bar is designed to comfortably keep you in the seat. I don’t know exactly how the science works but you shouldn’t be able to fall out, assuming you pulled the restraint all the way down on you.
Intamin makes the beast hypers
I only rode the Coasters that are not Steep. One of them is a Junior Coaster with Lap Bars. & the other One was a Family Inverted Coaster with Lap Bars, but tbh, at that Family inverted Coaster the restraints had Seat Belts which made me feel Safer.🎢👨👩👦🙃⏩⏩⏬
Which coaster was that cough for...😂
I believe that’s Mind Eraser at Six Flags Darien Lake. That specific coaster model is known to be brutal
ride op here, we only have seatbelts on rollercoasters to lower our insurance costs for the most part. The lap bar or OTS restraint does all the work lol.
That makes a lot of sense
Great video as usual! The OG raptors seem amazing to me. I love fast paced and agressive rides. I've been on Jersey Devil Coaster, and that's an awesome ride, but these seem like they could rank even higher for me.
The larger raptors are still great rides. But if you like Jersey Devil, you’ll love the OGs!
@@808CoasterLife I actually have JDC ranked above every coaster at Kings Island, but I don't know if maybe I should move Orion higher than JDC.
@@chargedonpc9989 It’s totally up to you. I’ve never ridden a giga yet so idk 🤷♂️
@@808CoasterLife I've been on two now, and then also Kingda Ka. I305 is my #2 coaster and Orion is great too, but more like a grander B&M hyper with some more modern elements than most of the B&M hypers. I305 kind of makes Orion look family friendly, which it is to an extent. Kingda Ka is absolutely insane, and kind of underrated. It's my favorite in that park and my #3 overall. I hope you can get on a giga soon. You've ridden Eejanaika though, which is much rarer for US enthusiasts.
