Canning salsa in February with frozen tomatoes!
Recently found your channel and love it! Cantaloupes looked great, but those eggplants stole the show!
Dannnng! That basket of eggplant was bursting!
WOW...Nice harvest!
The Buena Mulatos are so pretty!
Love their colors!
I love your fellow Hornworm Investigator she has a keen eye. I didn’t know a hornworm could completely demolish a tomato. New subbie here.
She is a big help! Welcome, glad you’re here! 🙂
That’s so exciting that your corn germinated! I am excited to see if the Candy Apple Reds mature. They sound delicious!
@@krystalsumner7662 Can’t wait to try the candy apples fully red too! 🤞
I just love a good potato harvest, awesome harvest.. New friend here from Growing My Own.
@@growingmyown Thank you and glad to have you here!
I can't stand hornworms ( sorry for the pun 😂). I could've loved to have seen it being stepped on 😭😅
I know, they’re so destructive!
I think this might be my favorite video yet!
Thank you! 😃There’s a lot going on around here this time of year!
Looking great!!
Thank you! 🙂
I will be curious to see how it holds up to the wind, too! Good luck!
Thanks! 🤞
what are they gonna do with it though?
Congrats Robbi! This is such a fun and ridiculous way to do this. I'm always happy to support chicken racing and beautiful guitars.
lol my first time seeing a chicken race!
Congrats to Robbi and Elvira! That guitar is destined to make some epic music with a fellow lover of the craft ❤.
This was so much fun! Ricky B!!!! You still did good buddy! I’m just thrilled my name was drawn at all lol! Such a fun idea. So excited for Aug 14th. Thrilled to be in the Secret Society of the Order of the Free Sixes 🤘🏻
That was a hoot!!! Congratulations!!
For real, though, how did you even get them to move? We THREW them and they didn't care. Should I admit to throwing chickens?
Lots of treats!
Heartbroken but Congrats Elvira and Robbi!
Congrats Robbi! Hope you enjoy your new guitar! 🎸 ❤
Love it! Can't wait till the next one!
omg no. Chickens don't race :D :D :D we used to do this (or try) when I lived in Texas.
but I've got money on Elvira.
lavender is so awesome :) so are volunteer sunflowers!
I agree! 🙂
Did that tree fall in the most recent storms?!
Yes it did, crazy wind!
Looking good!!
Thank you!! 🙂
The lavender is so pretty!
Thank you! 😃
New subscriber here 🥰🥰
Thank you!! 🙂
I Really need to remember to keep my seeds watered so they can germinate! 😅
Haha it definitely speeds things along!
Your starts are so healthy looking!
Thank you! They did much better this year thankfully!
chickens!!
Got them all washed and fluffed for this video 😂
We don’t blame you! After Saturday & Sunday especially.
Yes! That was intense!
It’s going to be great!
I’m excited to see the varieties you have this year! Kaira and I just put out some sunflower seeds. 🤞🏻 Hopefully the critters don’t get all of them!
Some for the critters and some for you, perfect balance! Hoping for a great growing year for us all!
Do you purchase your supplies (soaker hoses, landscape fabric, etc.) locally or do you order online?
I get landscape fabric from Morgan County Seeds in Missouri (check them out!) and when I need new soaker hoses I call around to find the best prices. Most recently I purchased several at our local Orschelns which is now Tractor Supply 🙂
😻 That cat is soooo cute!
We love her-Clover Bee Bunn is her name! 🙂
That is really neat! I can only imagine how hard it was to do that in the wind we had.
Thanks! Definitely took some patience 😂
You got a beautiful high tunnel.
Thank you!
What’s the deal? They’re so small. Why not give them a few more days? Unless you were on public land, I would let them grow.
You can put them in mushroom soup with other mushrooms you get from the store and put asparagus in the soup
I would suggest soaking them in water for at least 12 hours and put salt in it becausIe there's a lot of hidden treasures in them and the salt kills them and leaving them in water gives them time to float out😂
Change the water a few times. I don't like eating bugs.
yummy!
I wish someone could send Mr some! I have Stage 4 cancer and tit would make my day!
Best video to date!
Thank you! 🙂
We’ll make sure to keep past the on-ramp for “the Hershey highways”❤😂
😂😂
Dang! That is a huge haul!
Yes! We were pretty excited!
Do you have any chives that overwinter? I like seeing all the variety you are growing!
I do have some in my perennial bed that overwinter 🙂
Is your weed barrier folded in half? And do you only put it between your rows? I'm fascinated by no till gardening but Matt wants to do it the way he knows how which is how his dad does it and that's with lots of tilling. 🙄
Some of it’s folded, some of it’s cut in using a propane torch. I total understand, the concept was weird to me too but I love how much less work it is!
I love that I can watch a video for your wisdom. ❤
Awwwwwwwwww ❤
My peas are on the SW corner of the house and pretty small still. I went ahead and covered them with some leaves. I’m not sure if that’ll help, but I don’t have any frost fabric.
I think the leaves will definitely help protect them. I think they’re pretty hardy!
Great video!
Thanks!! 🙂
