OI LANGUAGE DONT SAY THAT ABOUT BELLS
You don’t get bell ringers in churches no more .
These are absolutely gorgeous bells. Wonderful to listen to. Great recording.
I hear the motors winding up before the noon strike and the verse.
Does the clock chime here?

Good quality
Holy, just wow! I’ve rung here
Anticlockwise ring too
Big Ben Sister
Big ben has a brothr already, you can call it that
That's my late father ringing the fourth! He passed away a year-and-a-day after this was filmed and that was quite an unexpected moment to stumble across your video, so thank you so much for sharing. If you still happen to have the original raw footage and are amiable to sharing it with me, please do get in touch.
Hi! That is incredible that you found this video and that your Dad is in it. I am really sorry to learn of your loss, and would of course be happy to share the original footage with you! What is your email address? Who is your Dad in the video - what is her wearing etc :-)
@@grahd003 Thanks Daniel. He's in the red jumper, centre shot in the first clip. What's the best way to get my email address to you?
but this sound serves for funerals

I like the sound of Urchfont.
Best bells in Hampshire. (I Think)
Here is the lyrics for verse 1 of Our God our help in ages past Our God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home.
I thought it was All through this hour- lord be my guide-that by thy power-no foot shall slide-
@@PinkPanther4958those are the lyrics for the Westminster Chimes
@@kevinsims2254 and this tower is playing that particular melody.
Before I was in London for my very first time back in 2005 I always thought that those were the bells of St. Paul's Cathedral :o
I personally think that Queen Camel, Marston Magna, Wincanton & Chilcompton are the best ones on the list. Marston Magna & Wincanton are both in F#, although I think Wincanton is the more superior F#, because it's in the nicer lower pitch (closer to F). I think Marston Magna is in between the low & high-pitched F# (An example of the high-pitched F#, would be this: ua-cam.com/video/Qiz-ZBCm4LM/v-deo.html)
Now that is what I call great ringimg. No bashing around.
God’s calling!
I must say, these bells sound really quite fantastic! They suit Windsor Castle perfectly. Very grand and gutsy old bells.
Heaviest ring in the world with Hastings stays
I've rung that tenor. REALLY lightset but VERY heavy to pull off! No amount of bouncing helps!
Heaviest peal of bells in the world that you can actually hear in the ringing chamber...
andrew bellringer You cannot heat each bell in the ringing chamber at Liverpool because the sound echoes around. Here you can
What time did it finally sail out? Does anybody know the reason of delay?
Set off about 19:50, but had to go to the turning ground to turn around, so didn't sail passed Mayflower until around 20:40! Various rumours circulating about delay - initially said to be due to some passengers not having passports with them, but then some rumours about them needing to off board 3 passengers for unknown reasons
+Daniel Graham Sounds like a long wait, looks like it was worth it though. Thanks for info 👍
+Magdalena Jones indeed it certainly was. Amazing to see such a huge ship heading out, and even more special with the fire hose salutes! You only really appreciate just how big the ship is until it's passing right by!
Is that the queen ringing
No of couse not lol
it wouldn't be much different from folk ringing their own tower or mini-bells at home!! 😁
Whats with the music ;P
