Hey, I have 2017 Bmws1000r Stock. I have bought a dominator mid piple/decat. I am going to cut the muffler/cat with a milwakee thin metal cutter. I will slap on the the dominator mid pipe and leave the stock akra exhaust on. Any thoughts on this do I need a tune/dyno after this change. Also, can I just leave the servo cables hanging somewhere/tucked away would it turn on the check engine light?

You can do just the hoses. Scoops are an extra $200!

Just know if you split the cooling and use a secondary heat exchanger you’ll have to trim those ram air scoops. But the carbon fiber scoops look good with the beast tubes 👌
I have distronic so I’m not sure I can run secondary heat exchanger anyways! 🥲

Yes you do otherwise you will get a check engine light.
I'm already removed servo & bypass with servo buddy. But still got Catalytic converter. Need info, is there any error after U remove Cat & installed with new straight pipe?? Or we need to do any tuning .pls advice

This tune comes from Ducati direct with the full system install. I believe it’s an ecu flash that’s adaptive! Hope this helps

Featheritbrother yes, mostly. Some of cat was cut but most of the material is further back so there’s no CEL and no need to tune
So after U remove Cat & 1st time start...no error engine appear at meter cluster??

Michael Hopkins I’ve had trouble with the bike yes! Very picky on fuel and I had a coil go out and have the bike some trouble for a little bit. You can follow the “health” of the bike over on my Instagram Hyper_Horton!

Hi im almost ready for the 600mile first service on my hyper 950. Do you no if there is a software update they do that stops the rev counter changing colour at 6000rpm??
kevinjohnoflynn yes the system is updated, after it won’t turn orange until you get to the top of the rpm max.. It’s only like that now because of the break in period
Hyper Horton great thanks😀 one more question, do you do clutch up wheelies??? I feel lole there is some electronics that cut power if i pop the clutch to wheelie. Not all the the time it happens though. And yes a have everything turned off. I read somewhere that other ducatis also have this problem. Power wheelie is fine, just cant use the clutch like all my other bikes
