the oldest deer will tell anyone else with a hoof what they want but the young one rarely do that. I've seen this same deer now for almost 5 years and she was already mannered like this.

so turns out there is not much cleaning of the pipe if you flip the back lever to engage the catalytic converter and properly use the stove as designed. Honestly I only cleaned it one time after 5 years just to be sure no problems and it wasn't needed then but made me feel better about safety. However, if I let it burn straight thru without closing the back converter then we get some black pine pitch build up at the top where it exits outside, so the best advice is do both: use the converter soon after your fire gets hot and burning nice and double check the chimney pipe once in awhile to make sure everything is ok clear. When I ran a regular stove we had to clean about once of month, but not with this stove. It is truly unique and efficient. I'm no salesman but surprised how well it works and when there is so much extra dead wood that could be used for free fuel instead of forest fires - why not skip the utility fees to heat your home - and get outside to get the exercise. Should be a win-win-win for most people if you have the wood and I believe hardwood will yield better results. Just here we have lots of Aspen and Douglas Fir so I burn a mix of that and works out well for us. Hope this helps.

most years we get a Mid-October storm and then it is back to blue sky sunny weather again. A couple 6-years-ago the worst happened with a 14-incher on Halloween and the big ski areas opened early (limited terrain and days - while Angel Fire remains closed since they fly in much of the Staff from South America on work visas). Super muddy everywhere as it melts and rains now. Thanks for watching !

they are rutting mostly at night when the weather is blue sky. listen for bugles where you hunt 2 hours before sunrise and get closer for a early sunrise shot.

Thank you ... you are right to say so and I will do that whenever the cameras actually work to pick up sound. unfortunately this particular camera doesn't record sound so I also will need to invest in more cameras that include the real audio. So, I don't mind -- I agree with you 100%.

Great, thank you. Yes this was a tuff hot week and almost all rut action has been nocturnal. Best recommendation during warm times is go to the top of the ridges and expect the elk to be in the shade just over the slope. They head to open grass at night and return to the trees by first light so you have to find them in the dark and be ready when the sun rises. If you have to post on one hunting spot make it a good one near water and stay all day for random activity. Other hunters will move the elk, but they go where the boss cow takes them. Good Luck -- tons of elk are around.

I’m watching all of your videos and trying to come up with a game plan based on their patterns. I will look forward to watching more of your videos leading up to my hunt on Oct 19th. I was looking around aspen hill area and it looked nice. Very flat though and surrounds private.

yes, that is frustrating ... I had cameras stolen once and on a search warrant we got a couple of the cameras back thru the local sheriff now I put out so many cameras that they cannot carry them all and every camera has another camera covering the activity.

the T-handle on the driver side next to the seat is the master switch so you can shut off the light with that. The error is likely in the light switch itself and needs to be tested, and likely replaced if you want to use it in the normal way.

you gotta wait for it teaser na na na then at 2 min it happens.

you can hook up anything you have handy or search the plug - for us that's how it works and no-one else can figure it out like a redneck security device -- of course the get away driver would be very slow
