FTS accepted my open challenge on tennis talk and we ended up playing today. It was a very fun match. I tried hard to relax and play better/consistent then compared to last time. I think I was successful and I won this match 6-1 6-1. I think at the end of the day, I was just more consistent then my opponent today. Just playing a friend for fun. I haven't played singles in awhile so here is my first singles match in almost 2 years. I am playing ballbag from tennis talk. I know they have been asking for some of my singles play so they can better understand my game and give suggestions. I narrowly won this match 6-4 4-6 1-0. I am in the black USTA 4.5. Opponent is Ballbag USTA 4.0.

USTA officially cancelled all events across the nation today. But we still snuck in our match because who wants to be stuck at home doing nothing instead of playing tennis! Glad to get out and play. Epic battle that went to a third set tiebreak. Almost won but we will get them next time! I tried to serve more into the court today but I dont think I was successful. I played against 2 opponents I played against before. Last time my partner and I took it in the 3rd set tiebreak. This time, played with a new partner and they took it the 3rd set tiebreak. Had a slow/rough start but we eventually found a groove to take the 2nd set. The 3rd set tiebreak was close and I felt like I was mostly playing well. Opponents 6-1 3-6 1-0

The two best teams in one of our local 8.0 leagues face off. I recorded D2 with home 4.5M/3.5F vs visitor 4.0M/4.0F. Everyone playing on this court are some of the strongest players for their levels in the Mid Atlantic. The visiting team ended up winning 6-4 3-6 1-0 It was a very close and exciting match and could have gone either way.
