Seen in this video is SMPD conducting a high risk "felony" stop on a stolen vehicle. Officers were attempting to locate the suspect of a stolen vehicle, when they located the suspect in a black chevy Tahoe, with non matching plates from a sedan, the vehicle ended up being stolen and both occupants were taken into custody without further incident. I headed up to the Keller fire just after it started, but 580 got shut down unfortunately right before my exit, so I had to catch what I could while caught in standstill traffic. Once forward process was stopped I was able to get some quick catches at the scene and chopper drops. Not my best catches obviously but I thought I would post anyways because there was a good deal of interesting units....

I really don’t think so. Law enforcement is expected to protect property and life, including that of animals. Simply activating lights and sirens in order to carry out their duties should not bring an liability issues.
Sure, but its enough of a liability to run code fir any emergency. Let alone that of an animal.
