Stephen outlines the need for mixing apple varieties in order to achieve a good cider. "You wouldn't make a curry with just chili" as " a lot of the art is in the blending"
Cider making is largely dependent on how much sun and water the apples get, much like a wine. From a maintained orchard of reasonable size will give you:
Vintage years, "average years and occasionally crap years".

A lot comes from Eastern Europe in tankers as juice and is fermented in the UK. Who knows what conditions it's produced in.

Yes, it is very much worth it. Or would you prefer to have the lush green landscape lost to rising sea levels due to CO2 from continued use of short-haul flights and ever increasing use of cars and lorries? We need modal shift, and this only comes with investment in alternatives. People like to comment on scars on the landscape when in fact they are commenting on an active building site. Reserve such commentary for when it is completed, and then compare to a 6 lane motorway and you will find it is by far the least impact compared to the alternatives

Its an abomination, I live in the middle of HS2 tunnel, its been causing havoc for YEARS already
Because it is an active building site. I do sympathise but once the tunnel is built, you won't even know it's there. I hope for your sake that those trying to slow it down and cause costs and timescales to increase stop in the short term so that the build can crack on and you can get back to normal as soon as possible.

Sounds like Kingston Black hasn't gone up in Stephen's estimation over the years.
I think it’s one of the better cider apples but he wasn’t convinced by them relative to other varieties. I’ll hopefully be back next year for another harvest :)

You seem to be missing a plastic sleeve for your hydropress to guard from splashes. Your press should have come with white cover, so you don't lose any juice and don't end up with dirty clothes / wall.
Ah! I see, I thought that cover was for storage purposes ahahah. Thanks for the tip!
But that takes away the fun of trying to catch to spurts of apple juice in your mouth as they spray out from the press!

This was my first Airsoft site. I found over time it had some really nasty players the games are not particularly good a lot of cheating and Aggressive players indifferent marshalling. I meet a fair few players that have moved from there for the same reasons. It’s potentially a nice site spoilt by the above
Ive been playing there for like 3 years now. Everytime I game there is at least 10 cheaters. Ive seem my fair few of arguments and marshals that dont seem to listen/care, Ive seen marshals blatantly cheat and claim they didnt and if you try to prove them wrong "Their word is law". Ive been looking into other sites like gunman and red alert. Are they any good?

The owner is nice and I feel like there is a good community there. There will always be cheaters at whatever site you go to IMO.
