Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 custom exhaust sound - extreme tuning and vibrant performance custom setup
Extreme tuning equal length manifolds and downpipes, OEM mid cats, centre resonator and rear section using a vibrant performance streetpower muffler and custom designed adjustable 1/4 wave resonator.
This is version 3 of my exhaust setup, still not totally happy with it yet. It sounds fantastic accelerating at higher rpm but below 3.5k rpm it's far from ideal.

Do you remember what was done with the exhaust on this? I really like the sound you've got and judging by the rear section of that exhaust, you've been pretty tasteful in not changing much. I've got a GTV 2.0 as well and I would like to know about options.
Not exactly as it was all done by a previous owner, but from what I remember it was standard headers and mid-section, but that had been welded and repaired like 3 times so there was surely a leak there. The rear section was a "Supercat" branded muffler (which I think is just some cheap random brand here in Aus), but I have no idea on what type of muffler it was or pipe sizes. More than likely it was a straight through design but I can't be sure. Sorry I can't be more help. this is going off my memory from 13 years ago!
Is this hi tech shop in darlinghurst Sydney? What exactly did u get? 100 cell cat? Is the back a muffler or straight piped
Not sure what suburb they are specifically, but yes HiTech in Sydney. I bought it used off a club member. From memory it was a milltek dump pipe and high flow cat, into the HiTech catback exhaust non-resonated version. Not straight piped. Car was running a Collins tune at the time.

@@FocusRS500 nah mate I'm in Melbourne, the car is long gone I'm afraid! I took this video about 6 years ago. I'm sure there's others with it, maybe reach out on the FB group or forum? This setup was def on another level vs the X-Force. Probably 50% louder too and there was some drone, so it depends what you want. If you don't want too loud I'd suggest starting with the resonated version, as I did, then you can always get the resonator cut out if you need more volume.
@@FocusRS500 Yeah! I had a x-force with the open/close on my old wrx, I didn’t like it either. I have an EmpirePerformance on my XR5 - sounds great considering it cost around $900 (I think it was) for a full turbo back. Check them out on UA-cam

Dirty Garage engine was rebuilt with 105 cams iirc, and had a sports muffler of some description but otherwise yes stock

77kw = 104 hp, that's impossible. That engine was 130 hp stock.
Very possible due to wear and factory rated up is at the flywheel and not the wheels.losing 26jp through the drive train isn't too bad at all.

yeah but he uses japanese/ chinese poetry like in the rock am ring intro a few years back
not anymore, sadly lp doesn't sound like that anymore, they sound like all the rest...
linkin park's all about the scratching and sampling, its what makes them differen to most bands, they need mr hahn out there doing some more of his japanese poetry stratching and crazy solo's
what makes make feel weird is he add some scratches in some songs during the concert that doesnt have scrathes in the album . why he didnt add it in the album ? weird ..

Poor Hahn didn't look too interested in the whole show during the set on the 14th just wandered around a little and stood there - especially when he didnt have any scratching to do. LP need to give him more scratch tracks or something.
