I wish your video gets millions of views because you have great content. Try running ads for your channel using some kind of system.
Fast as well..
Nice flare!
Above 80F better watch your weight on short field takeoffs...even the change in your pockets. Great little plane...started my first 20 hours in a Tri-Pacer.
Those numbers are probably for the Lycoming O-235 perhaps....? This bird has a Lycoming O-320-160 with a 61" Super Cruise prop and its a 1000 fpm climb on any hot Georgia day with 2 fatties and fuel...
That was quite a flat landing, not good.
Lovely little airplane. Thanks for sharing!
That is a great airplane. I did stick one with the engine stopped one time, no problem.
Owned a 1959 Tripacer for about 3 years. Good, all around airplane. Sold it when I bought a 1946 Aeronca Champ.
Yes, I've got some video of a Champ as well. Good tailwheel time...Check out my Champ videos!
Beautiful little aircraft
Thanks, I've enjoyed flying them...
All the short wing Pipers…..
are fun to fly....
@@MACE1-1I own one. PA-17
That's how they land, everytime. The brick.
Not with VGs...They land like in the video when you run out of air over the horizontal and don't stay ahead of it... Thanks for watching!
Hi Vern
Never heard one buzz like that.

@MACE1-1 wow looks just like Bloomfield New York I almost bought a try Pacer with its hangar at that field many years ago

It was fun to fly...!
What is the screen by your legs? Do you still fly this plane or did you upgrade, if there is an ultralight better than a Phantom. LOL:)
That's a video monitor with an F-16 HUD. I sold the Phantom years ago. It's a good platform...!
how do u mount ur radio? tq
piece of velcro and a bag. Just don't let it fly through the prop...
@@MACE1-1 hehe
That's one of the most gorgeous grass strips I've seen. That's my goal 🤣 Your own?
Negative, however it is a good 1800 ft strip and will make a man out of ya...
By chance is that Flying Frog in Ga.
Yes, it is...
Beautiful old Champ!
Thanks! It was fun to fly...!
What motor?

Does the mx 2 fall under far 103?

Airplane
How much you paid for it brand new and how much you sold it for ? My question has two targets : to find out the depreciation in value after only 2 years, and whether i be better off buying a used one initially to see I like it or not ? Are the wings foldable for storage in a container ?Thanks.
Yes, Thank you
Nic channel, it is really good
Thank you very much!
That looks epic
It is indeed....!
Nice aircraft
Thanks....!
Nice Champ. Beautiful airstrip. I grew up on an airstrip like this with a Champ. We no longer have the airstrip but I still have the Champ. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
👏👏👏
where did you get that helmet
Its a custom helmet that I built.
@@MACE1-1 any tip on how to build the same as yous i be glad if you could
Got to admit, I do like the single place phantoms.
As do I...
Wow amazing 😍
Thank you...
Amazing 😍
How did you learn to fly this?
Baby Steps, Crow Hops, Book Reading, Forum Following, Networking, and Opinion Receiving...
I too have a Phantom..trouble starting
Use good fuel...
Not sure you are monitoring responses, are you still the phantom as of today?
Negative, I sold the Phantom. Am currently flying the MX, 1946 Aeronca Champ and a 1957 Piper TriPacer.....
Great video.
Thanks!
Nice back of heads??
Thank you!!
Where's all the instruments ;-;
No need for that fancy stuff...
Very cool! I am looking to buy a Quicksilver of some kind to get into the experimental class. What does this this nice setup cost just to get into the air, if you don't mind me asking. Love it! Great video.
Thanks for the reply! That sounds like a very reasonable price to experience that kind of wonderful flying. Love the video and watch it over and over!! :)
Anywhere from $500 to $30000 plus....
vern, give us informative audio instead of music next time plz. should get you more likes.
I really like the way you departed the field , with that hard left, nice flying ,keep the shiney side up
Thanks!
is this plane sold ?
flyertuck1@hotmail.com, only interested in Challengers , 503 or 582
Yes
Cool video. Thanks for posting. Which helmet is that?
ICARO 2000 Custom Build
Ok, nice video, but gotta ask...what was the cause of the EIS warning light flashing?
Yes, I have that on my EIS also. Is your voltage regulator malfunctioning?
No, its a preset user adjustable condition...
I am in the process of buying a Phantom right now. Really looking forward to getting it in the air! :) I love your panel! Very clean! What is the red light in the upper left?
This is 3 years ago, how is your Phantom going?
@@Serenity17 Assuming you're asking me, I enjoyed owning and flying it for two years. It was great -- but eventually I realized that with no one able to fly with me, there was a bit of a hole in the thrill. I enjoy sharing adventures... :) So I sold mine, and bought a '96 Jaguar XJS convertible that my wife and I enjoy adventures in together -- especially along the Blue Ridge Parkway near where we live. I am very glad I had the opportunity to own the Phantom. It was a great time -- and it's a GREAT aircraft! I got it out of my system, and now I love its replacement just as much. :-D If you're interested, I posted a few hours' worth of flying videos (very raw and 'unedited') on my UA-cam channel. Feel free to have a look....
Landing gear is down... lol
