Hello Steven! I'm no medical practitioner, so do take everything I say with a grain of salt. But based on my experience, I can't really say quitting vaping has that much improvement in running compared to when I quit smoking cigarettes. What did improve my running was getting in those consistent runs week after week. Quitting vaping did improve other aspects of my life (i.e., priorities and mental state). And I'd say those improvements indirectly improved my running as well. These improvements in your physical and mental health no matter how little, when compounded is sure to improve your running in one way or another.

Hello Hoedan! My apologies for the late reply. I haven't been too active here in UA-cam lately because of work and family stuff, but am on the works of getting back into vlogging. :D Anyway, oh wow 15 years. That's a pretty long time in that I'm thinking the urge to light a stick is almost non-existent? I wonder what made you get into vaping. But it's good to hear you confirming that it doesn't feel like there's any adverse effects on your health. I've been a strong advocate of vaping instead of smoking cigarettes. Although I have to admit that we really don't know the long-term effects of vaping. But I would still argue that it's a very effective tool for us to steer away from smoking cigarettes. And you said it yourself, all the garbage feeling we get after smoking, it doesn't exist in vaping! :D I don't, however, want to see these in the hands of minors (lately here in our country, non-smoking minors are using these as a hobby), but as a tool for smokers to quit/avoid smoking, I'm all for it! And then I'd suggest they throw some running into the mix. Haha :D
