Hi great video Glad I’ve found it again, this site is now William Carter Close in Alfreton around 35 houses and the first house was occupied last week, I’ve been filming the site for the last year. Does annoy me that people see railway stuff in sidings that have been graffiti'd and looking abandoned but are very much not due to the cost and capacity to get these units into working order again and sometimes it does take years to see things happening so they wait on sidings until their owners get them sorted. That class 50 is prob worth more than you would earn in your lifetime and in revenue earning service an absolute fortune maker for hiring it being a 110mph express diesel the charter folks would be queuing up all day to hire that for their charters. Take a look, admire etc but do leave abandoned railways alone really as the 10000 ppl who have watched this, there is likely that one who would quite like to maybe steal things because even small items are worth a lot of money in the railway collecting sphere and more often than not to cover their theft they set fire to stuff and all those owners have lost their pride and joy.

Used to go into there,picking MK parts for trucks in the opencast in Co Durham owner was a sound bloke.

Ive worked in a few of those houses. I also did a job for a woman in mackworth that said she was paid over the market value for hers by the council or highways i cant remember which. What a waste of beautiful properties. Theres still no starting date for the a38 project as far as i know

Those Ex army bedford 4x4 trucks are extremly reliable and expensive trucks.. trust me they are not abandoned because no one is on site... the excavator will cost an arm and leg in todays market

Might be completely wrong but looks to me like you have just gone into heritage railway stock yard somewhere 🤷‍♂️all those carriages etc are probably just waiting to be restored. If I’m right I would take the video down as you could get done for trespassing
