This video clearly demonstrates the correct methodology for installing precast twin walls (also known as double walls). It covers the entire process from delivery of walls to site, safe unloading, erecting walls into final position, fitting site steel at wall joints and finally concrete infilling.
Great ! Apart from the concrete not being vibrated while pouring it in between the two walls, there is no way to tell if there will be any seizable voids left when the concrete cures. And no, a higher fluidity of the concrete won't cut it and no, the ''right'' fluidity will not guarantee that voids will not happen.
Why was there 10mm gap left between the walls?
Good. What is the thickness of wall.
Good video. Looks simple and clean to install. What about the shim pads? Are they cast in to the walls? Do you remove or dig them out later?

I don't understand why do you have to use plywood...when you can use a precast piece of concrete...waste off time on construction site to remove that plywood...technology yes 👍...brain 🧠 missing...👎

What keeps them sturdy on the ground? Is it the concrete that fills them in?
@@kwasebon our job they are welded to the concrete footers, and the walls are welded together using slugs and vector embeds. All the walls are braced to augers that's are drilled into the ground, and once they are welded 100 percent, the braces and augers get taken down.
