سُبْحَانَ الله مَا شَاءَ الله لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِالله Beautiful talk.
Deobandi misguidance on steroids for American Muslims …All the best
Truly amazing talk by Shaykh, as usual
mashaAllah...where shaykh from?
Sh Amin is from Chicago and Darul Qasim, the amazing institution that he founded. He is originally from India. One of the senior scholars in the west and america. Absolute giant.
43:00 (this is just a reminder for me) Jazak Allahu khair for this beautiful explanation
Subhanallah
Good job as always ma'sha'Allah. My visits to Darul Qasim and the workshops I attended there have been hugely impactful on me and for that I am forever grateful.
ASA Wr. I learn a lot from Dr Yaqoob. I wish he can use a good microphone because sometimes important words are not clear and hard due to accent.
Subhanallah
MashaAllah
I would love to see Shaykh Amin sit with Yasir Qadhi and discuss these type of issues
Subhanallah
Very informative and insightful discussion on aesthetics by Ibn Arabi.
Alhamdulillah. The true definition of As salaam.
Great presentation🔥
mashaAllah
JazakAllahu khairun for the informative presentation. An topic I’d love to research more on is why the 1857 revolt was the decisive moment the aspiration of Muslim rule is snuffed out. Was it so brutal that all parties acknowledged the British Empire was too powerful to oppose and cut their losses? Were there attempts to undermine or supplant British rule afterwards?
Can't believe they are not well known. Absolute warriors, saviours and protectors of the deen. More needs to be done to inspire Muslims
I benefited a lot from this talk, jazakum Allah Khair.
JazakAllahu khairun Ustadh Firas. Would love more discussions on the Mamluks. I wonder what the educational curriculum of Islamic empires like the Mamluks consisted of.
Well said!

Wahabi also have purposely misinterpreted Quranic tafseer...some ulema of bareilly uloom did a video on this issue..be careful wen u get Quranic tafseer from Saudi Arabia when going to hajj or umrah
What is a “wahabi”?
Madaml, you are confusing muslims with muslim invaders.Muslims did not rule parts of india. Delhi sultanate and Mughal sultanate were warlords from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. After 1857,the entire Indian muslim population was predominantly hindu converts and a spattering of mixed blood hindus. If muslims had ruled india then indian muslims after 1857 would not have been so afraid of hindus as Mr Jinnah after 90 years wanted Pakistan for safety of indian muslims.
I think that it would be inappropriate to disconnect them completely from Islam. Aurangzeb did reintroduce the jizya, introduce tax on pilgrimage for Hindus, and harmed a famous temple in Varanasi. These actions do seem to have a religious basis. I am not saying that there weren't other reasons, but just as it would be wrong to reduce everything to religion, it would also be problematic to neglect it. Mr Jinnah ultimately ended up harming everyone with his divisive ideology. It led to the growth of Hindu communalism and the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. It also strengthened divisions and hatred. What the subcontinent needs is the pluralistic worldview of people like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Maulana Azad, Maulana Madani, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Kabir, Raskhan, Guru Nanak, and other such luminaries.
Why cant we access all videos
Doesn't deobandi also allow mawlid?
No, they don’t
@@fatemaabdulla2728 yes they do
Who's telling the truth?
@@manohar_ivu-7it’s in the talk see around 54:00-56:00
This is an excellent talk - very interesting and much broader view that we don’t perceive our history in the current times. Very enlightening

Mission Accomplished in Pakistan? Poor Pakistani people don’t even know what hit them. The three hyena attacked them in Tandem. According to the proverbial hyena and its prey “the prey stands still, stunned and astonished, and does not come back to its senses until it is dealt a hard blow that makes it bleed, or is taken down to the valley to be eaten.” (The Islamic State by Sheikh Taqiuddin An- Nabahani, page 1). It was a fifth generation war against Pakistan- the objective was to destroy Pakistan without firing a shot. To dismantle the Nuclear capability of Pakistan. To dismember the unity of the Federation of Pakistan. To subjugate Pakistan under Indian hegemony. The three hyenas arrayed against Pakistan were: the United States, Israel, and India. They worked together in step to check Pakistan. They used every tool available in their tool kit, barring a direct military attack. The tools used to bring Pakistan to its knees were: Regime Change, Financial Destabilization, Election Interference (rigged and sham elections). Poor Pakistani people did not stand a chance, because their Army betrayed them totally and joined the hyenas to dismember its body. The Mission is Accomplished!
Masha Allah yah sheickh

Mashallah an excellent lesson. May allah accept your efforts.
JazakAllahu khairun. Excellent break down off the different approaches between Islamic and western institutions to the sciences. One thing which puzzles me a bit is the process behind the degradation of the madrassa system. Often we take this as a given, but without context I feel there will remain a gap to understanding the central role of the madrassa in Islamic civilization. The separation of education into secular and “religious” institutions had a big impact - but why weren’t maddaris which were supposed to preserve the tradition able to function on the same level as they had before? Or did they - and the society had changed too much to heed their advice?
