Started by Ummeed Child Development Center, Developmental Disabilities India is a new UA-cam Channel dedicated to awareness about developmental disabilities for parents of children with disabilities and for professionals working with children with disabilities.
It is a publicly available free resource and hosts a range of explainer videos about disabilities and tips-based videos for parents and professionals.
The first season of the channel will see a gamut of 25 topics being covered in English and Hindi.
All 25 Topics have been released. The videos feature:
1. Developmental Paediatricians from Ummeed
2. Therapists from Ummeed
3. Special Educators from Ummeed
4. Family Resource Center at Ummeed, a team of parents of children with disabilities from Ummeed
5. External Parent Experts

Thank you for your question! We are happy that your child indicate to urinate and sits down when she wants to use washroom for potty. These steps will help her to potty trained: 1) Take her to washroom with her favorite toy (2) Its okay she stands and don't insist her to sit (3) Eventually make her sit on potty seat and use rewards to motivate her. आपके सवाल के लिए धन्यवाद! हमें खुशी है कि आपकी बच्ची पेशाब करने का संकेत देता है और जब वह पॉटी के लिए नीचे बैठती है। ये कदम उसे पॉटी प्रशिक्षित करने में मदद करेंगे: 1) उसे उसके पसंदीदा खिलौने के साथ वॉशरूम में ले जाएं (2) यह ठीक है कि वह खड़ी रहती है और बैठती नही। (3) अंततः उसे पॉटी सीट पर बैठाएं और प्रेरित करने के लिए पुरस्कारों का उपयोग करें उसकी।
If there are 100 students then what . Individually teacher can't give sonmuch attention to talk to every child
I acknowledge that there are many classrooms where there are many students and one teacher, as a teacher you can talk to the students after class, we are not saying that you have to speak to them then and there, you can take time after class and talk to the child, if there are many students that you feel you need to talk to them we suggest you do a classroom sentisation session or a whole classroom conversation.

Thank you for your question. The answer is based on our understanding of your question. We understand that your child wears diapers whole day and you would like your child to stay diaper free. Often working on small goals helps and using rewards will motivate the child. Thus form a goal which would help the child to stay disper free for 2-5 minutes by making the child wear cotton underpants. Pairing this with rewards for the child will keep them encouraged and then gradually increase the duration of staying diaperfree! Hope this informatiom has helped you!
