Thank you so much for this video!!!
Why do this rather than go through a t post insulator on corner posts? I'm new, just trying to learn.
Not sure why people post videos, then never answer the viewer’s questions.
Informative and simple video. Thank you.
My soil is very rocky and we are inclined to have periods of drought. I have installed three 6 ft. ground rods and am considering putting a ground wire on the fence itself just below the charged wire. I would also sink additional ground rods at each corner in the fence and connect them to the ground wire. Lastly, I would connect the ground wire directly to the T-posts so that each T-post would also contribute to the grounding. Is there any drawbacks to what I have described?
I've been feeding horses for almost 2 years out at a field, and the poly tape fencing has never had consistent zap since I've been there; the horses have caught on! Now that I've watched these videos, I can identify SO MANY issues that I can easily fix (getting some proper splice buckles, fence clips, end terminals, sinking a proper grounding rod or 3) They're gonna be so impressed when the fence is actually working, and the horses not pushing it :)
I have a metal fence (t-posts and aluminum no climb). In lieu of burying a wire around the perimeter of my fence wouldn't it be fine to just connect the ground to my metal fence.
Hi?❤ Can i install ground stick 100m away from the fence?tnx
Excellent instruction video. Thank you
in your alternately charged electric fence scenario is the ground wire making a closed (connected back onto itself) or open (when full loop around paddock it doesn't connect back onto itself)?
There is power in the line running from the unit to the fence. But when I attach the line to the fence there is no power in the fence. Insulators are new and there is no vegetation touching the fence. it seems the power is not transferring to the fence wire. The ground rod is 6' in sand and I poured water to add moisture to the ground. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Great video
Thank you so much for all your video tutorials for installing poly tape electric fencing. It was in layman's terms and very easy to understand, even for a beginner that has never had any experience with electric fencing. I bought a young heifer calf 4 months ago with the intent of raising up a family milk cow, and she insists on getting out of the old fashioned barbed wire fenced field. She just walks right thru the rows of barbed wire......this will make her think twice! LOL. Again. Thank you very much.
Very nice bro we have Energizer Provide 12000dc Volts in wires ua-cam.com/channels/4FXG4JPuRJbRCAcm4LQh9w.html
Where is the best place to buy electrical fence connectors, and supplies?
Brilliant videos. You deserve way more views. Keep the good work up 💪
Excellent Video!
Cool
Where can I buy the metal piece for the t-post gate? I have pins in all my fences already. Or if I have to replace them, where can I buy both the pin and metal piece? I can't seem to find them doing a google search.
Great video - straight to the point! Thank you!
Use hydraulics to put the ground rod down. Dig a small hole. Fill it with water. Put the rod in and by hand raise it and drop it. Keep the hole filled with water. The rod will almost fall into the ground. No need to drive it !
What if you need to jump a bi polar fence?
Now a video that was done right. Thanks.
are we required to use insulated grounding cable or non insulated just do well
how many ground rods i have to install,
Very nice, thank you!
Outstanding... Easy to understand for a newbie like me
very good video what size wire for the grounding ? does it need 20 000 volts lead out wire ?
Excellent coverage of grounding issues
amazing and perfectly informative!
Very helpful and well done. Thanks
Hello. Your videos are great, and very easy to follow. Quick question: when connecting each level with a "daisy chain" we have polytape on the very bottom and use the polytape to energizer connector. Beyond that, since the top 4 are polyWIRE, can we just tie a piece of polywire to each level (as with splicing) or do we need a legit connector?
If you want to know how to make it yourself, just look for woodprix.
My husband used these plans from woodprix and he's very satisfied. However. I love Yours !
Very good plans to me too
Very helpful! Thanks!
You look like a young Steve Perry!
Just put one up on Sat.My pigs only took a few hits and now they know better to touch it.Cat also got hit and won't go near it.T-post and wire and clips a few handles for a gate.just over 200.00 for a 100x100x100x100=400 feet They use to jump on the old fence not anymore LOL!!
thanx
what is the name of the tool used to test the box?
Simple enough. Thanks!!
I'm investigating the subject and found a great website at Ewans Energy Roadmap (google it if you're interested)
Really enjoyed your video. Let's check Avasva plans also
Nice, nice, very nice. However you can make it yourself. Just google woodprix and learn how to do it easily.
Need this to keep out illegals, 220 volt R more.
My fence clicks twice and out puts 15.4 then clicks once and out puts 0 is this a capacitor issue or impeadance issue.
When burying a wire around the perimeter to act as the ground, how deep should you bury it ?
16 to 18 feet deep should be plenty.
@@danceswithstone I would think that if you can dig an 18 foot trench around the perimeter of fence then you could surely get an 8 or 6 foot grounding rod properly into the earth, thus no need for the trench and perimeter wire.
@@stevencochran2845 That's pure unadulterated sensibility right there. Do you think twenty feet would be enough then?
Well! I was able to eliminate my ground as a problem!
Awesome video 😃
Can I use this in a 12v system?
So I bought a ranch and wondered what was up with the pvc piping near my gate and this explains a lot...
