Labeled a powerhouse voice set on reminding people that God has a hope and a future for each of our lives, singer-songwriter Matthew Jones has been performing and leading worship for the better part of his life. Drawing inspiration from life experiences and blending musical influences ranging from pop to gospel/R&B, CCM and worship from such artists as Rachael Lampa, Unspoken, and Tauren Wells, Matt fuses soulful vocals with precise artistry and masterful lyrics to create songs that are as catchy as they are relatable.

When I was a kid, I used to read CCM Magazine and dream of someday being a part of the Christian music industry. I would check my family’s mailbox to see if the next issue had been delivered! So it seems only appropriate that my first time playing in Nashville would be at the CCM cafe. It was definitely a full-circle moment, and was an honor and privilege! Even better, I got to share this memory with my son Gabe. We hope you enjoy this acoustic rendition of our song “AWARE” 🫶
