I hope this mix comes out in stereo, but I can force Apple Music to fold it down in the car. It sounds exactly the way it should, the way it should have sounded in 1974. Amazing job. And thank you for the video and the peek at the multis! I no longer feel bad about cutting toms out of my OH tracks to process them differently. 😆

Great stuff. I love the work you guys have done for the Atmos mix. It manages to stay faithful to the original while also sounding new and refreshing after all these years of listening to the original stereo mix. I really hope the other classic KISS albums that haven’t already gotten the deluxe edition treatment get Atmos mixes in the future. Would love to hear Hotter Than Hell and Unmasked remixes in particular.

You all did a fantastic job on this mix. This is just one example, but the entire album sounds great. I honestly never thought it could sound like that. I really hope there are plans to make this mix more widely available than it currently is, and hopefully for you get a chance at remixing and editing more of their early catalogue.

You need Moeller to play certain rudiments well. I've never heard quality inverted flam taps that don't have at least a little bit of Moeller action in the playing of them.

@revliscrazy Point taken! When you you say, "The Norm" Would that be winning? B.D. doesn't teach Moeller Technique for a reason. It is too hard to clean 8-10 snares etc. That is why it is used on drum kit.

The song was a song that was made up specifically for this exercise, so I'm not sure if you'll be able to find it anywhere. But it could be out there somewhere.
