Occasionally post Gopro clips of me riding
Harry (redone) - Totara Park MTB park
Recently Trailpro came in and reshaped both Dick and Harry in Totara park, and they're running sweet at the moment!
Just remember to stay off them if it's wet, since you'll destroy the tracks if you do

Maraetai MTB Park - Pirates (Until I crashed)

My mate Finn and I have ridden this track quite a few times in the past in various conditions. I took the wrong line into one of the corners however and ended up bending my front rim in the process. I'm putting this down to too much speed, and not really riding steep stuff as of recently. This is the steepest trail in the whole park, but it is great fun and challenging at the same time.

Just a few third person shots of one of my favorite trails out this way. A good mix of steep sections, tech and flow all add up to a great fun trail.

Picking our way down Tumeke (follow cam)- Rotorua
Переглядів 4396 місяців тому
Finn and I rode Tumeke while we were down in Rotorua and it was interesting to say the least. I'd only ever ridden the lower half and Finn had never ridden it before, so we weren't going crazy fast. Finn rode all the features, but I chickened out on the steep section near the end (will get it next time).

NISS Enduro race 2024
Переглядів 4286 місяців тому
Just the trails that we raced for the North Island secondary schools enduro race a few weeks ago. I didn't have a single clean run apart from Gunna Gotta, which set my time back a fair bit. Mostly just did this race to have a bit of fun, and it's made me realize that I prefer racing XC just because there's no waiting around involved!

These clips were recorded a few weeks ago, and I've only just put them all together. All it is is just riding a bit of tech and flow on the xc bikes

Looks so good now
Get you a gopro helmet or chesty take frontal shots.
Haha this was ages ago ive got pics of these aswell.its all over grown now needs trimming back. Good jumps.
I have the same kind of vid on my 29 m. Such a tank. Wana take my smaller bike out. Mean runs. Wana do the mulch jump and the big hips.👌✌️😎
Bro , i will try to visit 99bikes in manukau tomorrow , are still working in the shop? Thanks
Hey Bro! I'm actually not working there anymore, but I am going to be working at My Ride in Botany from next Saturday onwards!
Wasn't that section so steep that the camera flipped upside down?
Yeah I think it was 🤣
First one is a sick trail!
That looks like a fun trail. Your video quality is excellent too. Where are you?
Cheers, thank you! I recorded this video in Rotorua, New Zealand in the Whakarewarewa forest
Trail looks like a perfect day out. Over here they’re all natural sand unridden (only me and my few friends ride). They veer from tame to impossible. Fun days, but the Goldilocks trails like that one don’t really exist.
@@japanunfound The trails in Rotorua are awesome! I don't get to ride there very often since it's about a 3 hour drive for me to get there. I've ridden a few tracks that are sand based myself and they're definitely interesting in the dry especially when they get steep! Super loose and sketchy, but still fun times.
My main place is called Kirishima. It’s awesome. No sand, but sometimes too difficult for me
@@japanunfound ah nice! Cool to hear about different spots around the world!
I got fed of trying to hear you over the daft music.
Fair enough mate. Thought I'd try something different for this one and I'll admit myself that it didn't work out well with the music in the background, which is why I haven't put any music over any more videos.
@@randommountainbiker9305 I never put music on my videos 👍
Wow it's amazing 🤩
Teach me please🙏😮
Which bike are you on lad?
In this Video I was riding a 2021 Nukeproof Scout 275. I sold it a few months back only because I started using it less and needed the money to go towards an enduro bike.
Great little trail that one
Yeah it's great fun! Probably one of my favorites
Bit smoother than on the Revolver? 😂
Haha yeah only a little smoother! 😂
What days do u normally ride there
If I have time then every few weeks or so I try to get up there after work on Sunday's normally.
No way someone actually road Zeb Zag
Wouldn't surprise me if I'm the only person who rides it! Cool track though, but I guess it's that climb that puts people off.
Happy Birthday Bro , and Merry Christmas
Cheers bro and Merry Christmas to you too!!!
🌹🌹🌹👍👍
Theres no stopping this man. I got so shocked when you where able to go down those stairs
Cheers bro!
I love the scout 2021 best bike ever for me 2 years later I've done everything with it. Jumps💯👍 enduro👍💯 downhill 💯👍trail👍💯 urban💯👍. I hardly use my fullsuspension bike... I recommend NP for all the MTB lovers...
Excellent bike
I agree, really loved this bike! Just super capable. It's a shame I had to sell it since I needed the money for an enduro bike
Nice Trail and nice review! Thank you! I'm about to buy a new bike and i guess it will be a Nukeproof Scout :D
Cheers mate, and you're welcome! You're gonna love it. it's such a sick bike!
sick
underated earned a sub
Keep it up Bro
Cheers bro! How have you been?
@@randommountainbiker9305 went for long holiday back home , my channel was hacked for a couple of weeks until i recovered , and now start all over again,
what are you getting? :)
I'm getting myself the 2022 Marin alpine trail XR. First ever enduro bike so I'm super excited!
@@randommountainbiker9305 nice bro!
The bike is listed on Trade Me! If you're interested in buying it then follow the link. www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/sports/cycling/mountain-bikes/front-suspension/listing/4182968036
What model of NP Scout I should to buy, 275 or 290? I am 190cm of height and I need XL frame, so… What am I need as my first true-trail bike after grandpa-bike GT avalanche 9r (29inch)…?
I'd say that since your last bike was a 29er, and considering your height you should go for the 290. Also the 29ers are faster and more well rounded than the 27.5 which is better for the hardtail. Bigger wheels also roll over things easier which is an advantage for a hardtail
Try 29 on a large frame .I've got the exact same bike. And we're the same high... you'll love it...
Pete here. Is this the send off for the nukeproof?
I reckon I'll probably get one more video in once the weathers a bit nicer. It's gonna be a sad day
I see you are riding with the nukeproof, no revolver?
Yeah mate, it was just for this ride I wanted a bit more travel. Also, I haven't actually told you this yet but soon I'm going to be selling the nukeproof and using the money towards a Norco fluid. Reason being that the Nukeproof and the Revolver are very close when it come to times on descents. So i want to get a full suspension for even more capability, while still having the revolver for race purposes.
@@randommountainbiker9305 Yea that makes sense the nukeproof has served its time well.
@@danielshallard654 It most definitely has served well!
Hey Random mountain biker, it’s me Theo the tracks look so nice.
Yeah the tracks are real nice
Looking sharp my guy ;)
Cheers bro!
Nice riding!

good one!

Well done 🤘🤘

@@randommountainbiker9305 Cheers 🍻🍻
that video is for sure a bit old, that new section we built is so good
I've seen a video that there's a new jump on the last section. Looking forward to checking it out on Monday! Also, last time I was up at Woodhill, I think I saw you working on a corner with a few others on Daddy long legs I think it was. I was wearing a long sleeved red shirt
Yo that's awesome!🤘🤘
Cheers bro!🤘
@@randommountainbiker9305 Cheers brotha 🤙🤙
@@Pozitivi No problem! Just subbed to your channel 🤙
nice tracks full of challenges and jumps greetings from new friends here
Thank you for watching! The track is definitely full of challenges
Oh man! That last part is so rough on a hardtail! 😅
It was crazy how rough it was! The video just doesn't show how steep and bumpy the track actually is!
@@randommountainbiker9305 true! Thanks to hypersmooth. 😅 but yeah, it's actually hard to keep your feet on the pedals. 😁
@@kevinlucasmtb hypersmooth is awesome! I switched from flat pedals to clips a couple months ago and I feel if I hadn't switched then I would've crashed because my feet would have come off. And that is actually how I dented my old Trek remedy, so thankfully we don't have to repeat the past!
Yes it is definately more fun than rowdy neigbour. Nice Vid.
Thankyou! The reason why I find it's better is that rowdy neighbor is just really bumpy and it can also be a pain to get too sometimes as well
@@randommountainbiker9305 and it starts off with an ascent!
@@jaselikesbikes exactly! And I didn't even realize that there was an uphill the first time I rode it

amazing bro 😁
Thank you!

Sorry about the video quality. I am saving up for a new laptop so I can edit and upload videos on a device that supports 4K. For now, this will have to do.
quality is fine 👌
@@luisaguila8220 That's great to hear!
are you using stock settings? looks really good.
Yep, I am using the stock settings. However I can't use it in 4k all the time though since it's a pain trying to download the video from the app onto my cheap phone which doesn't support 4K. It works for clips like this, but for longer videos I would have to record and edit in a lower quality.
Nice job on rock candy, im more scared of rock candy than AV8A because it's so awkward to me.
Yeah I'd agree with it being awkward. It is a pretty difficult track, and I have never actually completed a full run on it. I always case the first of the last three jumps
Nice
Thanks bro!
Lmao I just hopped on my old iPad to quickly google something and then I get this notification. Long time no see Thomas, hope you’re doing ok.👌
