I started MTG using this list in 2020! It's helped me learn the basics of the game! Any plans to revisit this deck with some upgrades?

for me, I keep flipping between wanting Otrimi and Brokkos as the commander. (since Brokkos can mutate from the grave, you rarely pay commander tax)

is it worth buying the breya precon and upgrading that?

I had a Yeva deck in 2016 and 2017. I LOVED my Yeva deck. Lots of land tutors, lots of big creatures (even some Eldrazzi), and an alt win condition of Helix Pinnacle (what? You haven't heard of Helix Pinnacle before? Doesn't surprise me.). Oracle of Mul Daya, Courser of Kruphix and Garruk's Horde (to name a few) to play lands and cast creatures from the top of your library, which is just simply card advantage.

Mirri says when they attack, opponents can’t block with more than one creature. I’d try and swap a couple of the creatures that grant haste for creatures that grant menace. Or even the enchantment that gives all your creatures menace over one of the equipment cards. Great warrior deck though.

This is a great guide, building a Breya deck now and trying to make it as broken as possible to balance out my other underpowered decks.

I love my Otrimi deck! One of the best cards in the deck is Elusive Tormentor. Once you flip it it’s really hard to get rid of. I have fun with Stuffy Doll and Creepy doll too, since they’re indestructible.

I've become obsessed with an idea of a Sunburst Knight deck. Hopefully this can help inspire me. I always get these grand ideas but it becomes more challenging executing on them lol.

Well just in case someone’s still interested, Teferi’s Veil is a great budget way to deal with board wipes and Monastery Siege keeps most of the spot removal away from our creatures.

Isn't mutate an alternate casting cost? Mutate shouldn't pay tax, it's the same as Commander ninjitsu and bestow

There was a point in the video where you said “the end result is not all our opponents being dead but that we have infinite mana”.. Breya, herself, is an infinite mana outlet. That’s the appeal to playing her in a competitive sense. She has great color identity but if she couldn’t translate infinite mana into a win I doubt she would be played in higher powered metas. She is kind of like a foodchain commander in that way as she wins the game if she can be cast and recast from the command zone over and over. Just remember that Breya can sac herself to her own ability. That should get the light bulb to turn on. 🖖namaste mtg homies

So a bit confused about mutate. So the card above is what you would mutate into, and then you gain whatever abilities it has? The reason I ask is It says gain all the abilities under it. Do they mean all the other cards under it or gain the abilities listed on the card below. I have other questions but I don't want to make it confusing and make it not make sense so if anyone can help me I would love it

This is basically standard enchantress with none of the 5 color benefits... Why play a 5 color commander? There are so many good (and cheap) red and black enchantments. I was hoping to see a true 5 color enchantments deck... :(

Crovax, Ascendant Hero is supposed to be the non-phyrexian version of a character, so it's kinda ironic that he's basically a smaller Elesh Norn

Your deck is missing lands.... the whole win con here guys are the lands. Everyone knows Urborg/cabal coffers, but shrine of Nyxthos and my favorite, Crypt of agadeem can get you insaine mana. Tutor these out with vapiric, demonic, grim, or imperial tutors, and your set. Cards like profane command, exsanguinate, damnable pack, death cloud (i could keep going) are otk's. Thrumming stone isn't even mentioned in here, and its a better version of secret salvage (run both). And if you see a blue player, tutor a besiju, tree who shelters all. Now your otk spells are "uncounterable". (Thats not a word) Also, cavern of souls. I run 45 shadow born and now they're all immune to blue. If you wanna full deck list, let me know.
