Very nice watch from Oris ❤.
Wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
I wish you a speedy recovery Mike
Great lineup! Get well
Get well soon my watch brother!!❤🙏🏻
Sorry to hear about the accident hope all goes well with the surgery and recovery Mike!
Bummer Mike. God speed and stay positive 🙏
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Wish you the best recovery! Now your collection looks like it belongs to you, after all you have done to get to this point!
There are many great Swiss Watches from Brands like Oris, Tissot and Longines. Not overly expensive but great quality.
@@susannicholson3255 I agree. Can add Certina, Mido, and Hamilton to the mix as well.
Say it ain't snow.😅
Bro outside is having his anime ark🤣🤣
Great thought provoking video Mike. For me, I "think" I'm now in the space where selective acquisition is the way to go, partly driven by budget and partly driven by the collection I currently have which covers all bases and then some. I'm finding myself increasing less interested in micro brands and more searching into unique and different pieces from the bigger players, particularly Seiko, Bulova, Casio etc.
Made me think 🤔
@@Zotrax1946 Thanks. That is my intent. Thanks for watching
OMG!!!! I FN LOVE *DOXA!!!*
I need this beautiful timepiece!!!!
*SEIKO FOREVER!!!!*
Ive been thinking about buying one of these!!!! Whats ur take on SAN MARTIN??
@@CAJ23 great watches for the price. I’m probably selling this one. Hit me up on Instagram if interested.
I see an MM300 in your future 🔮👀
@@larryc I can neither confirm or deny that statement.
Agree, I want one too 👍
No U50? 😢
Flipped it. Enjoyed my time with it though.
I definitely feel what your saying. I don't see much changing with my core vintage collection this year. But, im planning on trimming down my modern collection. I'm going to focus more on microbrands , by catch and release unless it fits a missing spot.
Take this as a positive critic: 1. you already should know what kind of watches you like. 2. Those 6 should be enough if you like them, you don’t need to be a collector Enjoy all of them in good life
Makes a lot of sense. Probably not going to happen though. lol.
Got lume?
Both are good looking watches.
Perfect Mike 👌👍
Happy New Year to you too. Im terrible at selling watches that are not worn. Hopefully, this year I'm more disciplined and only pick up true keepers as well.
@@whasafauh it’s a learning process. I hope 2025 works well for us both.
Thanks for the video! Always looking to try new micro-brands 🤩
My strategy didn't work out as expected last year, time to try again.
14 hours in to 2025 and I’m on track so far. Lol
@ 💪
Happy Bew Year Mike 🎉🎉🎉
Most watches under $2k are made in China.
Are both watches made in China?
Good point. Probably.
Well done Mike, appreciate the mention 👍
Told you it worked 👍
Looks great!
Awesome Lume. Reminds me of a layered Unimatic. What’s the movement? Cost? Would def like to see a full review. Keep on Rock’n in the New Year!
Selita Movement. $600ish new. I picked up on Flippers from Rob.
Nice bright lume
Chinese watches have came a long way
100 percent
Yes they have! Do you remember the Parnis days? lol
Yeap. The watches with the cheap stingray straps. Lol. I had one.
Way too tight
@@davidc756 I just added a link back. Is that what you meant?
That bracelet is legit 👌
Yeah...I have this watch as well and its shockingly good!
Especially at the price point.
Cool bracelet
I agree. Thanks.
A Murph homage with a broad arrow logo. A perfect "Guy" watch! What's not to love about it?
Thanks for sharing, the strap does look sharp on this watch. Great pick for 2024.
I’ve had a seamaster 300 in blue. I’ve had it for 7 years. It’s been great. I did have to replace the clasp. What I really really really want is a U-50. I’m saving my rupees.
U50 a great watch. I flipped it but enjoyed my time with it.
Perfect pairing!
@@mccauleyjohnny4992 agreed. Looks like it was made for it.
Looks good for that price
That's a good Christmas haul. They all look like winners.
Im a big Seiko guy but I like that Oris
@@L4busaures Aquis is a great watch. There is a great deal on a used one if interested ua-cam.com/video/FFd92nl-rQ4/v-deo.htmlsi=gxjvb3cmtzPgLqU8. Rob is a good friend of mine and trusted source.
I would replace Oris with Certina PH 1000 and add Bulova devil diver to th eempty space but overall amazing collection.
Great Options. I especially love the PH1000 and could see adding that. Aquis is my go to daily driver. Super accurate and extremely comfortable.
I highly recommend Uncle Seiko’s Z199 “J style” bracelet with flatter, brushed links. Also StrapXPro makes a fitted FKM rubber strap I. Brown for these models SPB147 and other colors for other models.
Those are great suggestions.
Great! Merry Christmas from the UK.
