Smashing the stigma on struggles faced by parents. The was born out of my own challenges; combating pre and post-natal depression with both babies. As a proud first generation Melbourne, Greek/ Nigerian and recovering perfectionist, I felt ashamed and isolated in my struggles.
Why weren’t more people speaking about the topics that have a stigma associated with them? How did partners feel when they saw their other halves struggling? What did that do to the family dynamics?
The podcast is a cocktail of:
Guest episodes; where we give voice to struggles experienced by both parents, getting the juice from both sides of the coin
Real Talk episodes; where Liv and I discuss the trials & tribulations as boy mums raising toddlers in Melbourne
The Vault episodes; where we hear from our community about what keeps them up at night (recordings remain anonymous).

Thank you for this. I didn't quite catch her Instagram handle. Please share here for ease of following her. I am a first time mum. 9 weeks pregnant and i want to learn as much as i can about the pregnancy journey and parenthood to know what to expect &reduce the shock factors. I am glad to have stumbled upon this channel. Ill be happy with either gender but my partner really wants a girl.

Currently going thru this. Just found out I’m having another boy (2nd) I was very open about how badly I wanted a girl. I have that very guilty feeling & crying from disappointment. Bc this wasn’t a planned pregnancy & this is why I didn’t want to have another child bc I was scared of having another boy & it happened. So rn I’m going thru the motions of it all.

I was disappointed when i found my second and last baby was a boy as well. But it ended up being the best thing for my kids. They had similar interests, they always hang out together and the bromance just makes me tear up. A brother and girl rarely stay this tight in life- especially after certain age. But two brothers or two sisters, those are best friends for life. Now I'm glad they're both boys.
