do you think he likes it From Brett Goldstein's podcast Films to be Buried With.
People complaining about 13's era having bad writing/acting clearly never watched classic DW 😂
ua-cam.com/video/BR9JUzZcbl0/v-deo.htmlsi=rQGxSceOESFN2d3q
The mike Yates joe grant bit was below the belt 😂
I love the first one, I think I reference it at least 2-3 times a week, or some of Tryst’s lines
I have never agreed with something James said so much, probably with the one exception being his correct material about transphobic comedians.
... ... ... Let's do it!
some of these clips aren't remotely funny, intentionally or otherwise. :/ some are intentionally funny. but, thanks for your efforts.
The fomasi clip is absolute gold
2:48 I knew the Gems were to blame for all this shit. (Steven Universe)
4:12 me after seeing that Ruby's mom mystery was poorly developed 😂😂
“Yooouuuuuu must find the keys for me!” Well I wanna try whatever he’s smoking now.
4:13 why can't this be the fashion of today?
I think all of these were hilarious. Really enjoyed ‘i don’t know what’s going on’
Speaking as someone who is only slightly younger than the Doctor (though I'm very spry for my age), I can assure you, as others here have also pointed out, a significant portion of these clips were intentionally humorous. Whether it was the decision of the writer, the director or the actor or even the editor to be funny, is another question entirely. But yes, some of this now appears unintentionally funny to a modern audience, I totally get that, but some of it was already seen as unintentionally funny even when these episodes were brand new. I'm sure that shot of the Doctor falling into the water in Warriors of the Deep was intended to be shocking/exciting/scary, but I can tell you from personal experience that it was awkward then and it remains awkward now. In their defense the cast & production team were under unbelievably tight time & budget constraints and sometimes they just had to make due with what they had. The other thing to keep in mind, especially with the episodes made in the 60s & 70s is that it was assumed that people would watch the episodes once, maybe twice, and then be more or less forgotten about, with the only way to revisit the story was through the Target novelizations. No one at the time could've anticipated the VCR/DVD/Blu-Ray and streaming age, where uber-nerds like me would scrutinize these episode to such a a lovably(?) absurd degree.
"my dreammms of conquest!" that always gets me🤣
where's the myrka and the kandy man?
That mumbling dalek is deffinately an old veteran lol
The cliffhanger to part one of Warriors of The Deep is like something out of Airplane
Oh, Soldeed is a treat, and I'm sure he was on purpose. 😁
The whole of Warriors of the Deep should be here
Classic who could be so awkwardly funny and ridiculous 😂
1:39
DALEK (menacing Susan): "We can al-so sup-ply, un-limit-ed quan-tit-ies of fre-sh veg-e-tables!" 🤣 SUSAN: "Canned or frozen lasts longer!"
Omega: WHAAAAT!!
3:21 "🦆? 🦆? 🦆? 🦆?????"
I'm dying... 💀
I couldn't help but notice a lot of season 17 in this video, I wonder why?
PIGBIN JOSH!
I got a big chuckle out of how after the carbon dioxide explanation in The Ice Warriors, we get "I don't follow this at all."
"WHAT!!!!!"
4:08 - Dude, that's one of the oldest laughs in the classics book. Yep, Doctor Who and the *exual innuendos, they were around even before NuWho ever found NuWho! lol
The foot fetish was the most gratuitous thing in this movie though
I have thrush infected ears after listening to that.
Where's 'NOTHING IN THE WORLD CAN STOP ME NOW!'?
A billion times better than the absolute s**t that has called itself Doctor Who since 2017
*Y O U M E N T I O N E D F O A M A S I ?*
No Ingrid Pitt karate kicking the Myrca?? That is the shows ultimate unintentional belly laugh!
"I find that violent exercise makes me hungry, don't you think?" *Eats sandwich grotesquely* The Sea Devils Part 2
What I find funny about that bit isn't the dialogue, it's when the camera awkwardly zooms in on his mouth
@@oranmccann2476 I remember gagging when I was little.
@@SimmsDungeon It's a very weird moment in a otherwise good story
The mumbling dalek was DEFINITELY intentional. The Chase is a comedy, a farce even.
They killed a baby in that story.
@@Silverwind87 and?
You should've included: " Look at the size of that thing Doctor", "Yes Jamie, it is a big one " 😂😂
Yep, those wonderful innuendos. They need some more.
That's funny 😄
Not all are.unintentional surely
Wdym unintentional?
watched this for 4:28 of classic sci-fi - longest i have watched Dr Who in over 10 years.
4:13 Me as soon as someone does wake me up rudely 😊
Sometimes Classic Doctor Who is very unintentionally funny. ❤❤
Completely agree 💯😅
You missed one...... "What?, no, not the mind probe."
The delivery of that line was actually intentionally weird.
@@SuperCookie64 it was rehearsal footage used in the broadcast
@@zakramsey3508 Um, no. You don't do rehearsal on set.
Noooooo 😅
The Classic era, in two mantras: Shut up, Adric Shut up, Turlough
Yep pretty much 😁😅 lmao
Nicely done.
"He died" "How did he die?" "... He died 🤷♂"
In fairness that one is intentional, if not in the script, then the actor at least intended it to be amusing.
Oh so helpful 😅. Not 🚫
could be true though, maybe they were just talking casually one day and then he just yelled and fell over backwards with his friend looking as bemused then as he was when talking to romana
i was so sure that the cut at 3:39 was to a wide shot of a dummy dressed in the doctors clothes, but after watching it frame by frame thats actually a real person fallng over the railing lmao
People are cheaper than dummies.
@@richjohnston so far
0:45 Darnit. Next time, get the quote in The Time Monster that no one seems to find anymore. "She's very temperamental when she's aroused, isn't she?"
Naughty Master 😂😂😂
@@DoctorMysterio15 No. That was The Doctor talking about his TARDIS.
@@kyrauniversal Oh my...
