Thanks! I’m new to diving and I got my dads old regs and computer 😃
So basically nothing in melbourne :|
Thank you so much
Dose it need to be 2450-B battery can’t even find it on line. Thanks !
2450 worked for me
what size is the allen key?
I had the same console but the tank guage pressure needle doe not show please how to fix?
excellent explain thanks buddy
Would changing tank size (80 to 100) affect the accuracy of the data on the Cobra 3?
is there a way to update the firmware? i cant find it on mares' website. aparently there is no "2021" or beyond in the calendar, since January my puck has been living in back in 2015
Class shots of the sea dragon👍
Do you know a nice safe place (shore dive) for scallops and/or crayfish in Victoria? It would be my first time trying to catch them.
Depends how fast you breathe... New divers tend to use a lot more because they breathe faster.. Seasoned divers will breathe more slowly... That and it also depends on the depth you dive.
Thank your for making this guide
very good the friend's video but I managed to make the mares matrix I can't find anything on the internet thanks
How about in outer space ? Would less oxygen be required ? Thanks
From Google - *about 45 to 60 minutes * An Average Diver, at an Average Depth, With an Average Tank Based on personal experience, an average open-water certified diver using a standard aluminum 80-cubic-foot tank on a 40-foot dive will be able to stay down for about 45 to 60 minutes before surfacing with a safe reserve of air still in the tank.
two thumbs down?? LOL seriously...no hang on...I got it, they just managed to convert their tanks to A clamp...now they can start their dive, so really the thumbs down are a thumbs up...enjoy your dives thumbers :-D Yey!
Do you do any videos just for snorkel/freedive or is it basically scuba?
*Very easy to use>>> **nub.best/aai4** The company charged more for the product on Amazon than they did on their own website. Little to late. However, the computer was excellent during my recent dives and I do not regret the purchase.*
Wow. Thats a big one.
Can you do more vids on Hastings please great video
What was that other fish/ray that went past on the left side? Thanks in advance
It's just a little stingaree
can i delete all previous dives? because i change the battery
Unfortunately not, It keeps the dives on the logbook until they are overridden by new dives.
thanks for your guide very convenient
I was diving nitrox earlier (2 dives) and my third dive was regular air. Now my options are "nitrox, gauge, off" instead of "air, nitrox, gauge". Any ideas how to change this? I've never switched from nitrox to air so I've never had this issue.
Hi Rocco, after diving on nitrox the air option isn't available for 24hours afterwards. The way to tell the computer your back to air is to set the nitrox to 21% for that dive. It's done like this to prevent accidentally selecting air when your diving nitrox. Hope this helps
Diving Down Under thank you, that's exactly what I ended up doing. Just wasn't sure why it locked my options from me but it makes sense. Thank you for the response.
How do you reset it all? I just bought a used one. Thank you for the video it’s super clear !
Florence Leclerc, there isn't a way you can reset it that I know of. My advice is to some dives in so the old dives fall off the end of the log book :)
You are a star!!! That was super clear even for me! :)
Thanks for sharing😊😊😊
Have you left a little piece off that covers the battery before the battery cover?
Hi xshishx Gaming, I know which plastic clip you mean as it's on the suunto helo2 and others, but it's not installed on the cobra 3 as far as I know.
Here's a Suunto video that clearly shows that piece: ua-cam.com/video/hGjs23D-IPo/v-deo.html
Very helpful. Saved my dive. Thank you
nice!
No answer in the end. Standard tank 80 with 300 pci 10 meters last approximate ? 20 and 30 and so on. You answering question with a question nicely done.
hi! thaks a lot...i was watching this for one question...unfortunately you didn`t answer that specific one, though...i`m afraid it might not work at all...here comes: how do you delet your logbook? i bought the computer second-hand and don`t want th old dives be in the log...thanks!
This is strange, I've had a play with the computer, checked the manual and spoken to people who own it, and currently there seems to be no way of deleting the dives in the logbook. They are just overridden with the newest dives you have done. My advice is to get some dives in, so you can drop the old dives from the end of the memory :) Happy Diving.
ya...i also already figured. thanks for your respone, though!
Cheers mate ,I didn't know that
good , but how can I connect it to the PC
You will need a download cable like the one from the link below: www.amazon.com/Mares-Puck-Service-Parts-Accessories/dp/B00VVVTD46 You can download the software from that mares website, or you can download to an android tablet using Dive mate USB from the play store Hope this helps :)
To be honest I've never had any issues with the suunto's, It's not the most user friendly interface but it does have a lot of features and definitely one for reading the instructions, but once you get you head round it it's a great computer.
seems to me that suunto products are seriously flawed with respect to their it-usability, user friendliness is zero or negative, actually user hostile products.
great video mate! do you do any diving out of the heads of Port Phillip Bay?? If so would be great to get a few dive sites like this video.
Thanks mate glad you liked it. I'm hoping to do more videos like that now that the off season's coming up.
