    A divorce should put a stop to all financial support. It’s like saying that a job you left 19 years ago should be required to keep paying you even though you haven’t worked there in ten years.

    It was easiest and calmer and best for our daughter to just alternate holidays who she was with, stopping mid day or at night to have to switch a child to another parent's house seemed disruptive and unfair to our child so we'd just take turns, sometimes like Thanksgiving and Christmas we'd just all be together, we were amicable and cordial to each other and Love our daughter more than we had issue with each other, I just don't understand what's wrong with some parent's, it's so damaging to the child to fuss, fight and argue! Ridiculous and immature not to mention selfish

    It obviously does. If a woman is willing to destroy her family by cheating and no longer having their children grow up with the father of the household. Then they are putting the children's lives in danger. There are plenty of studies showing how having a father outside of the household leads to children doing drugs and crime. So there is a direct link

    • @nycdivorceattorney
      @nycdivorceattorney 4 місяці тому

      Doesn’t matter man or woman. Cheating also doesn’t automatically mean it can’t be forgiven or mended. Having one parent is always a bad thing, I agree 100% no matter if it’s mom or dad.

      @@nycdivorceattorney it mostly women who cheat, statistically. My father was the president of Florida alimony reform and the fact is that courts view men cheating as a horrendous crime for which they should be permanently emotionally and financially punished while women get off easy under the guise of "if she cheated it must have been for a reason" and always get child custody and off easy. The fact is women raise dumber, fatter and non masculine children into grown kids who have no skills, no drive and live meaningless lives only for themselves instead of fulfilling the purpose god has for them.... on the hole

      @@arthurjulien9455 It’s all a matter of perspective. If a parent cheated, the other parent has an absolute right to cut them out of their life. But does that also mean this person must be cut out from the child’s life? A child is an independent person and may not care that mom/dad wanted to have sex with someone else - just cares that mom/dad loves them.

      @ValKleyman It's already been mentioned as being married .. This is just another way to keep women not held accountable ontop of proven questionable anti child choices . They can spout all they want it's about law not morals.. Judges held to life time positions to uphold a sense of morality keeping the generations on page..

    The lack of enforcing morality, specifically in family law creates an atmosphere condusive to family violence.

      Morality is a slipper slope. Every person has their own set of values. We can't have a court enforce it. BUT...it doesn't mean there is no other place where your karma doesn't get squared away.
