Looking forward to meeting you in June!
❤ I can't wait until the convention in June!
🎉 Absolutely can't wait until #HEAVcon 2024, it is the highlight of our #homeschool year.
Hi,In high school we have to record everything and be sure to cover the credits they need it's true we have more liberty to do based on their interest!!
Is there concern this could create the opposite, an opportunity to reduce who is "qualified" to homeschool?
Nvhaa Cheer I had the same thought.
What an awesome simplification and clarification. Love that it will make life easier for our public school administration, too.
Love the idea! Will be praying for a good outcome!
Officially, we are on our 6th year.
This makes me so, so happy that HEAV is outreaching Hispanic families in Virginia! It’s like breaking a chain of how I was raised and illiteracy of my parent’s not knowing or not able to homeschool me. But also growing up always constantly being reminded as a Hispanic daughter that bringing honor to my family was bringing home A’s, even when it meant not understanding most of my academics. And feeling like a total failure! I have been so, so scared to go with Homeschooling route with my children now. But it’s been in my heart like God putting this in my heart! And I love that more Hispanic families are doing this! I wish so much I could attend the convention especially to this one just because it’s so amazing! And the first ever to have a Hispanic support! But unfortunately due to family budget I am not able to make it😞. But I know this would be the push for me to help me and guide me! Locally we’re im from I have not meet one Hispanic family homeschooling. But acouple of Hispanic mamas know that I might be homeschooling and they have been asking me where should I start, what curriculum, how to homeschool? And inside of me im like I am still trying to figure it out! I even have thought of starting something locally for Hispanic families, like a community or something, but I will be praying to see what God guides me too do! Thank you all for doing this! God Bless Everyone!”
Like your friend Mohammed ESE class it's his special diploma if don't pass the fcat the give you option 1.

SoOoOo much helpful information...!!! #ThanxBunches 👏🏽😊🤘🏽
Thank you for this post! ❤️
I have a master question that I am a 17 year old and I am still in grade 10 I want to take online classes at 18 but I do not have American papers that would not affect if I wanted to take online classes
I have a 7 year old who will turn 8 on August 27th. She started piblic school Kindergarten roughly 3 weeks before she turned 5. I pulled her out midyear to start homeschooling (in California, we have relocated to VA as of last week). She continued with Kindergarten for that year and we took the following 1st grade year slowly (she was not ready for Kindergarten when she started). This year we revisited some 1st grade subjects to make sure she has a solid foundation in them. If she is doing mainly 1st grade work still would I concider her 1st grade? Thank you so much for all this information it has been tremendously helpful!
Thank you for the information. It was really helpful.
Very true. Remember CBN and Pat Robertson and Sue Dickson, showing parents how to teach kids to read! Sue Dickson helped this movement by providing the curriculum, CBN and Pat Robertson helped show the way with Sing, Spell, Read & Write!
