Powerful Amen! In Jesus's Mighty Name
Thank you so much for sharing your personal stories with insecurity! God is an amazing artist!! 💜💜💜
No problem! I felt God calling me to talk about this , be more open and step out of my comfortable zone a little! Happy you enjoyed it 🙏🏾❤️
[Scriptures mentioned] Psalm 139:14 “ I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”
Nice video Much appreciated It is okay to be angry but it is a sin to use anger to commit sin. We humans will feel anger by all means, the most important thing is to be calm and pray. So as not escalate a situation.
Lust is one of the worst sins because even without satan pushing you to sin, the emotion is still a part of you.
I’ve posted my art on UA-cam before, thankfully I haven’t been hated on. But tbh, it’s really sad and that’s why a lot of artist quit :(
The internet has always been equally toxic if we can still enjoy art without using tiktok heck just using tiktok for inspiration is not good, look at a gallery and consider multiple art styles like spider verse if you look at other pieces of art you could take the best parts of it and combine it into your own nobody is making exaggerated poses like jojo or putting their ocs in an album cover.
I really love this comment I should've addressed this in the video thank you for bringing this up you're right :). For my vid I used tiktok as an example of current toxic places to upload artwork on the Internet but you're right that Internet has always had some toxicity to it
I hate ai but saying that it cannot get better than us is just straight up wrong in atheistic beliefs (unless you believe in god and stuff) that goes against evolution and the fact our brain are made out of electricity and programming.
I do believe in God actually ^^ I just believe that actual art made by an person IS better than ai art , for centuries we've created such beautiful artworks without the use of ai. I do kinda agree that ai can be used for good things but there are artists out here who use ai and claim that it's their art which isn't right. But honestly I do understand your comment though :)
HAPPT BIRTHDAYYYY
It's not my birthday mines June 24th but thank you anyway ♥️

That was my complaint too when I first saw Asha. She looked too much like Isabella Madrigal from Encanto and Rapunzel from Tangled. I too, wished that they gave her a different personality. It didn't make sense for her to be adorkable (like it did for Rapunzel, Anna, Moana, and Mirabel). I felt that she should have been grounded, skeptical, and maybe a bit cyncial (kind of like Lady from Lady and the Tramp, Tiana or even Mama Imelda from Coco). Having Star be a magical shapeshifting boy would make more sense than just a live star because it would explain why Asha had to hide him so much because what would people say about a boy coming down from the sky? I'm also one of those peopel who belived that Starboy should have also been Asha's love interest. ^^ It's hard to pinpoint where Rosa is supposed to take place and what century. Spain? Morocco? Mediterranean area? Rosas looked like a cheap knockoff of Enchancia from Sofia the First. Yeah, it would have been lovely to see it in 2D movie. We missed 2D and visually, it would differentiate Asha from previous heroines. The composer that wrote the songs has no talent whatsoever. Where did Julia Michaels learn how to write music? A cereal box? Sorry, if I sounded harsh but if I was head of Disney, I would have fired her for writing those songs and get someone who actually has experience in musical theater.
You’re so underrated!
This art is yummy
TYYYYY
Omg you’re honestly underrated! I absolutely LOVE your art style 💗💗💗
Thank you so much 💕💕
Your artstyle is so cute!! Underrated artist ❤️‼️‼️
Thank you so much 🥰
The issue itself is clear, people are already used to seeing masterpieces because of the internet, and anything "inferior" or "ugly" or "beginner" is worthless to them, especially with an AI that makes drawings in a matter of seconds, throwing all the effort a human puts into the trash for them, the guy thinks "why are you trying? It would clearly be better to stop because this is not for you". They forget that there is a process, trial and error. However, a somewhat controversial opinion of mine is that I don't think we should say that everything a beginner is doing is beautiful and wonderful, because then we will have what we have in modern art, a square block or a sketch that looks like it was made by a child and people applauding as if it were the last work of the century. But yes, we should support beginners, even though I am afraid, I posted my art and it was well received by the community I participate in, I ask for criticism and they give it, it is the balance between being understood and wanting to improve.
One of the reasons why I'm posting on Cara, its just an artist Habitat Other social media is not worth the pain
Cuuute! Such soft colors 💖
Thank you! 😊
I don't give a crap - I make art for me, and anyone else wanna tease me for it - I'd like to see them draw without AI.
I love that ‼️‼️‼️
I genuienly cant believe i let people convince me her design wasnt straight up...caricature😭 like everything about her to the aura, to her expressions and the way she acts.
My old friend loved this anime, but oh god they hated this design Also your art is so beautiful, i love how painterly it feels, and the re-design is great
Im white and i might be wrong so correct me I dont actually see anything racist in her design, i see racism in how they do her expression which looks more like caricature and almost didnt remind of her natural look
I honestly do get where you are coming from! :) Me personally I just really didn't like the way she was characterized and her design ( at least for me) felt like it had some racial connotations behind it or maybe the manga/anime artist didn't do her features justice. I do agree with you ab the expression thing though! :)
omg 😭😭someone finally said smth about her racist ah design like WHAT were they thinking
sometimes characters are stylized too. stylized characters doesnt always mean that its racist. i havent watched or read this in a long time so i dont remember any of the scenes, so dont come after me. edit: i just saw some of the scenes from the manga and theyre kinda scary tbh so i still get what yall mean
I do 100% get what you mean dw 😭, what you're saying is completely understandable too! I may personally not like the way she was stylized but you might and that's perfectly fine 💕 thank you for this comment :)
So Cute! Can I ask how do you put music on your videos? I want to one day do one but the copyright strikes alone are what's scaring me.
For this vid I use vita (editing software for mobile devices) to add my speed paint and then I add the audio! :) it's important to use non copyrighted audio so for me I mostly use music from Freetouse.com and credit the music artist in my description so I don't get copyrighted :) (hope this helps)
@kitkeke0_ Oo Thank you so much!!! I appreciate your help! I hope you many more subs and you have Awesome arts!
omg finally someone breaking the silence 😭 I always thought her design was soo odd like not even in a good way
thank you!! i’ve always been bothered by her design
I haven't seen the anime, but some of the panels in the manga are so racistly drawn I had to put it down.
Isnt she supposed to look unattractive and intimidating tho? Not like a tiktok pretty girl? Your art is pretty and good but thats not the point of this character in particular. I would get the "bad design" argument if it was for another black character like the one from one punch man Not every character needs to be pretty, pretty doesn't equal good representation That's like me wanting every queer character represented as perfect good people, when in truth I want realism, some queer characters to be good people, pretty people and others to be villains, deprived and even ugly. To me that truly is good representation, you know? That'd why nowadays to me, media/shows are extremely mundane..every queer, black, Indian, etc character is perfect, good, pretty. That takes away from life. It's hard to enjoy something so..unrealistic and boring? I don't know how to put it into words but, it's like the moment a good queer or black character is depicted in a negative realistic matter, that suddenly becomes bad representation and people bash it This problem seems to not exist for straight characters and white characters, so I guess they are lucky, they can be whatever they want and people will eat it up, they have infinite possibilities of characterization like every race and sexuality should have. Anyways, sorry for the long comment
I completely understand I just wanted to redesign her so she didn't look like an offensive caricature as I've seen that a lot with black characters in anime in a similar situation to sister krone where their features are not represented as well as their lighter skinned counter parts though even when I was finished with this I did feel like maybe my cutesy simple design may have taken away from her characterisation. I revisit this design and try see if I can edit it for my socials Thank you for this comment :)💕
The most random artist bullying beginner artist: lol meat canyon ahh art style That one mf who's stickman art looks better than most of them: *decides to talk about the problem* The artists that bullied beginner artist: *feels offended because of their ego or something* (I don't know why I commented this (─.─||))
It's fine dw 😂
Cuuute!
This another reason why left social media completely no one told me my art sucked but constantly I seen feeds of it sometimes and it was😒😒😒 don't get me starter the other reasons so now I'm on Cara. Now my goal is to enjoy my art and to improve and of course learn new skills 😁😁😁
You'll be surprised there are folks talking shit about artist they hate to their followers in code on Ig stories. My friend has another popular artist and her followers mad at her art she post for some strange reason and mocking her I personally think it's Envy but now I cant trust anything the popular artist draws because she took from my friend designs and probably takes concepts from other artists. My thing is she thought it was cute and funny to show off doing this but I just Seen another artist on UA-cam take her main oc concept down to a T and make a movie out of it and she doesnt even know it.. So Karma acts fast. But I just hate the drama.
Those beginner artists getting bullied have one thing that I don't have: courage. Courage to post their work online because they wanted to share it with the world. And instead of being commended for their bravery and further encouraged to draw, they are put down by the very same artists that they most likely look up to...
It's sad to see people who have a decent amount of followers making fun of beginners. Like you were in that position before, don't be rude. Also it sucks that a new trend of bullying starts every week or month
Great commentary! As a (sort of beginner going into intermediate artist) I’ve learned constructive criticism and support is really helpful. When I was younger I used to like my art and it made me feel motivated and encouraged when some peers or adults complimented me, and later on when I started digital art a few years back (2019) my art style was rough however I hadn’t been posting anything yet, I didn’t even know how to use an eye dropper or paint bucket but I learned over time with the help of friends who did digital art as well, and then later on when I started posting art/animations I got lots of support from super nice artists/animators who were also a bit more beginner/intermediate as well; it really encouraged me to keep drawing lots and lots and on occasion I’d get tips which I took to heart; over the few years my artstyle has really developed and improved and I love to tweak certain things about my style. I feel like on UA-cam beginner artists are usually treated decently compared to on tiktok and such (however that just may be my personal experience) . I think people shouldn’t just make fun of beginner artists for having wobbly lines or such nit picky things like that; nobody was perfect when starting art and it can take years to develop a style you’re comfortable with and that makes you happy. However a good chunk of beginner artists are minors and kids emotional maturity and such can vary; so what may seem as just a ‘joke’ can be seen as hurtful to a younger person and enough of this overtime can build up a sense of dread or bitterness overall, but they attribute it to the hobby which earned them these ‘jokey’ comments. So they decide to stop doing it for their own mental health. It genuinely hurts to see beginners quit since I know how it is, and I know how lovely it can be to see your own improvement. Sorry for the long yapping session but I just wanted to throw my own 2 cents in on it!
I would also like to say that you don’t have to take criticism or advice if you don’t want to. If like 10 or 50 people are all giving you criticism and advice all at once, that will NEVER be helpful to you. It’s OVERWHELMING, that’s what it is! You take whatever advice or criticism you want and leave the rest. It doesn’t matter if the advice / criticism is good. No, you have a right to refuse advice or criticism.
If I’m being real, I mostly see it on tik tok and you know not all beginner artists are children. So these people bully both children and adults 😭 like these bullies do not have a life!!
Just something I thought I’d add- I feel like, personally, it’s usually best to keep your criticism of other people art to yourself unless they’re specifically asking for it I don’t know- but it just feels kind of weird to go around nitpicking and critiquing peoples work unprompted?😭 Everyone always has things they need to work on- because no one’s art is ever 100% “perfect”- but that doesn’t mean they have to work on it or want to. Especially when art is a hobby- people just want to have fun with it, and constantly thinking about all the things I had to improve when I was younger definitely took from lots of the fun it brought be before that When it’s unprompted, it’s just difficult to tell how your critique will be received. So try to just be nice and only offer it if it’s being asked for! (Ofc you can always do what you want and exercise your free will- it’s just easier to be thoughtful of these things! :)
That's completely understandable! I should've included that in my vid but knowing me I probably forgot to mention it 😭, honestly when I was younger I would receive so much unprompted critiques of my art and since I was so young id take the criticism to heart and get slightly disheartened so I completely get what you mean. Love this comment! Thank you for mentioning this 💕💕❗️
That part about begginer artists receiving positive comments is so true ! When I was a kid drawing was just another creative passion for me and I didn't think I was very good at it (and objectively I wasn't at first) but people around me always gave me compliments about my drawings (even the ugliest ones) so it motivated me to keep trying to get better at it. Now I'm an adult with a master's degree in art direction. If I received the treatment some of these kids receive online I would have certainly stopped because my self-confidence is just too low and it would have destroyed me. Also people saying it's "just a joke"... if the target of your joke isn't laughing with you, you're just laughing AT them, you're insulting them. My advice for young artists today would honestly be to start posting art in private, like for example in private Discord servers with a select few friends, and avoid big socials like TikTok or Instagram. Those platforms make it really easy to attract the wrong crowd and they can also make you obsessed with metrics (number of likes and followers) which can distract you from practicing your own art and developing it in a way tha'ts personal to you (many beginner artists stray from practice in favor of drawing things that will get them internet attention and it can stunt their personal growth).
like how the timelapse still continues after the videos done
I feel like in general, since the lockdown, people in the internet have became WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too comfortable with being the worst scumbags ever, it's crazy how much of a difference i remember the internet pre lockdown and after...
I miss the good old days where we would support beginner artists and artists who are learning to draw better. They're art may not look like masterpieces but you can tell that they were really trying and want to improve. If you don't like the artstyle just ignore the artist don't go bully them. Honestly people online these days just annoy me when they make fun of young artists instead of guiding them
honestly i think the state of beginner artists recently can be pretty bad because dang people are rude nowadays and some people can quite literally have no filter </33 this video is pretty comforting as a (intermediate-ish) artist trying to improve :) by the way, love your voice and i appreciate this video! new subscriber :)
im so glad i grew up with an amazing and kind online environment :,D nobody made fun of me when i drew my sparkle dogs or my awful attempt on anime art lol
That's amazing! I'm happy you grew up with a lot of support:D
I saw a video on insta asking if they had improved, most of the comments were just people who didn’t draw saying they knew anatomy at the age of 8 and that their art was bad.
I miss when people would give the most unique, sweetest compliments ever and now its "meat cannon ahh art style💀🙏" or some sht😭
EXACTLY MAN 😭😭😭
tiktok slang ruined everything
@@cheemsdrip7478 so true😭
The main problem is the world is way more connected than ever before. If you grew up somewhere before the Internet caught on, you MAYBE knew one or two highly skilled people in the area. Nowadays, people are so used to seeing prodigies growing up on the Internet that they grew desensitized witnessing skill and talent on display. When someone is seen starting from the ground up, it confuses them and they don't know what to do with themselves. They let their expectations of beginners inflated so much that it's "cringe" enough to become an excuse for cyberbullying artists (who are often, like you said, young children) off their platforms.
i really dont understand this, bc i'm maybe not a BEGINNER beginner, i'm still not that good, and when i see someone who's super skilled i'm genuinely amazed. i'm not desensitized AT ALL and it even makes me lose some motivation. or gain some when i remember that i have a lot of time to learn still. when i look at my old art i make fun of it because it's ugly, but it's me making fun of MY art. i'm so happy i didn't post anything anywhere like three or two years ago, or even one year ago. definitely would've gotten made fun of. which is funny because i've always been the best at art in my whole class😭 but i guess people don't understand that kids aren't super good at art. i was bad three years ago because i was like TEN. like it looked so bad, but considering my age, it was actually pretty good. and now i'm 13 and my art isn't even that good yet. but i understand that i still have a lot to learn and most of these skilled people i see on the internet are MUCH older than me. people need to understand this with beginner artists too. maybe they look bad now, but didn't you? don't you look at your art from a few years ago and see how much you've improved? that's exactly what's gonna happen to these beginners sooner or later. some people really need to get that into their heads.
finally people talking about this!! theres probably alot of videos on this topic but i havent been able to find it / i havent been looking for it, i avoid art sites because of this :[ i think if i posted my art a few years ago on like tiktok or any site i would have stopped drawing entirely because of being bullyed im glad that i didnt tho bc im happy with my art now :D you have an amazing artstyle and i hope you have a good day :]
That's wonderful! It's great that you're happy with your art now and I'm glad my content could speak to you like this! 💕
are you british?
Yes unfortunately 😭
