Great video. My question is fr me I struggle with making chord progressions. are u following any specific rule or its all by ear and vibes?
I first basically determine what scale I want to make the beat in. Then I just build out different progressions and stick with the one that works. Honestly? just takes practice. I’ve come a long way since when I first started.

Is there a cheat sheet for Octive when you bring it down and up
Hmmm...Well an octave is the distance between one note and the next instance of that same note in the musical scale. For example, from one C to the next higher or lower C. So, if you are lets say in the scale of C major just remember that an octave would be C, D, E, F, G, A, B, and C would be the next octave depending on if you are going up and down. I'm going to go live this weekend ill try to explain it better then.
